Chamonix Esotique-RF with Matrixyl (anti-wrinkle treatment)
I received this product as a sample, and a very generous sample it is -- .33oz. I have been using it for 8 days and still have some left to use. It is a thick pinkish cream. It glides on easily; a little goes a long way; and it is not greasy at all (at least not on me). The RF means it is "retinol free". I believe they have a similar retinol product as well.
Key ingredients are:
- Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-3 (matrixyl)
- Grape Seed Extract
- Hyaluronic Acid
- Calendula Extract
- Jojoba Oil
- Avocado Oil
- Vitamin E
I have not been using it as a wrinkle treatment so much as a moisture cream over the Alphaderma CE. I like it alot as a moisturizer. Using it day and night (as stated in the directions), I find my skin feels smoother and softer and looks more dewy and fresh.
Would I purchase this? Probably not at $90 for 2oz. Esepcially since all I am looking for is a "good moisturizer". $90 is a bit much for that. I can't really comment on it's wrinkle treatment abilities as the Alphaderma CE has taken care of most of mine.

P.S. I also got a HUGE sample of their microdermabrasion product. Haven't tried it yet, but after I do, I will make sure to write a review.

Where did you get the grapeseed extract, are you just dissolving an antioxidant pill?

well actually Sharky I was sort of joking. But I do have the ingredients except for grapeseed extract but I do have grapessed oil and I am sure it would make a reasonable substitute. When I actually get time to play with my ingredients I might give this a try.  |
