I tried some foundations and blushes - loved one of the blushes but had to mix shades of foundation to get a good match.

I don't know who carries these - I bought them online in Australia. http://www.youngblood.com.au has free worldwide shipping and they sell samples.

Thanks Mabsy. Just spent ages looking at the before and after pictures, and wondered do you ladies who use the mineral make-ups actually get these results?

Rosebud - I find that mineral foundation is very good at covering up redness and other pigmentation. You do need to layer it though in order to achieve what those photos are showing. Particularly the one where the girl has a lot of dark moles and they then disappear - I think this is totally doable if you take a fine-tipped brush and apply the loose foundation as a concealer to each spot, but it would be very time consuming. I still love loose mineral foundation as a concealer for pimples though - it's the most natural and longest lasting coverup.

You know Mabsy, I tried the BE Bisque and it did nothing for me. I find that my skin looks the best when I only wear a bit of concealer and blush. Whenever I put powder or foundation, my skin just looked better without Rolling Eyes
Maybe I should start a new thread up on this topic Laughing
I am tempted with the Jane Iredale and next time I am in the States I know I will probably purchase (all your lot fault Laughing ) but I really hardly ever wear anything.
I have nearly a full Dr Hauschka Bronze, tons of MAC and the Bisque.
Is it just me but I hate having layers on my face.

I was using BE about a year ago..and I got the bisque as well...i didnt notice anything special about bisque, and people would rudely ask "Why is your face peach?" haha. So i quickly threw that stuff in the trash and used my fair foundation as a concealor as well...but the glow isnt for me. Ive been using aromaleigh for a couple of months now..this is the most natural i've ever looked...if i have to layer it to cover up any redness..it doesnt even look like im layering...at all. very good stuff.

I saw the before/afters and was quite impressed. I think I'll try some samples if I can.

I recently purchased this from a spa in the Vancouver area....I do think you can purchase it from their website www.absolutespa.com (should be a link to purchase their products) Smile

I do like this product and I normally don't wear ANY makeup so it has to be light and not too powdery....which this is. However after a week of use I did get several small blackheads/clogged pores on my forehead and I have never had any problems in this area Shock Now I am not really sure if it was caused by the youngblood or something else Confused but I am still using it cause it is the best thing I have found to provide some coverage yet feel like I am not all cakey Smile

Absolute Spa website is www.spaproductsonline.com

I ordered from them and it was quick (shipped only a couple hours later). Great prices...but somewhat poorly designed website.
