Last time I went (for a week) I came home on the plane with a chapped bum
My skin is oily and my complexion was perfect, I actual had normal skin on my face but my body!!!!
The water really dried all my skin out and I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this as well.
To really top things off, yes my vagina was affected as well!!!!!
I'll be going with a suitcase full of moisturiser (Neal's Yard or Aquious Cream) and having some sufficient fish oil supplements before I go, is there anything else anyone can suggest? |

Hi Rosebud,
I read a survey once of the worst places in the USA in terms of skin health, and the #1 worst is Arizona where the air is dry even in the summer. Las Vegas is pretty close to Arizona, I'm thinking now. I would use a body lotion from L'Occitane that contains shea butter. For hands it would definitely be the shea butter hand cream from the same line. Its my HG hand moisturizer for colder/drier weather conditions. If you want a lighter texture look for lotions with hyaluronic acid which attracts moisture from the environment and binds them to the skin.
Have a great time! Hope you win loads of cash so you can buy the entire EDS product inventory |

I'm sure there is a L'Occitane at Manchester airport, so I could stock up before I went
I'm going to be there for 3 - 4 weeks, I'm actually thinking of making up some of my own moisturisers from scratch so that there will be nothing to irritate my skin. I think the Graphite cream will be coming with me too
I like the idea of hyaluronic acid attracting moisture |
