I can't wait to get my EDM samples now!

CG- I tried BE too and I HATED it!! OMG, the color was terrible (too orange), and all the shimmer in it made all my blemishes and scars look so much worse--- I ended up returning it to Sephora.
I think you'll really like EDM, though. If you get the right color and coverage for your skin type it's actually sooooo much faster than liquid makeup--- just dust it over your face (I use a combination of a flocked sponge and Alima's powder brush) and you're out the door in one minute, 2 minutes tops. EDM is nice because they have a lot of different finishes. Because of all my blemishes and scars I prefer a super matte finish, so I liked their matte formula the best. Unfortunately I couldn't get a good color match with them, so I ended up switching to Alima which is what I use now and I am just over the moon about it! Alima's color selection is fabulous, and they will custom mix colors for you too for no extra charge (I use a mix of C-0 and W-0). Plus I like the texture a lot--- very matte and yet very creamy. If you decide to check Alima out don't forget that all this month EDS users can use the code EDS10 for 10% off. I'm looking forward to hearing what you think about your EDM samples--- it's ever so much better than BE and I think your skin will really thank you for it!^-^ |

Sure --! I got mine at SavOn -- which is now a CVS. You're in Canada, so
Go to eBay and search for... okay, let me be less lazy and go get the box, how about that?
Durrrrr.
Wait here. I'm in bed sick, so let me stagger to get it.
(mutter mutter mutter sniff snort mutter snort)
Nature's Cure. or http://www.naturescure.com, it says.
I don't have the ingredients, because I tossed the box. All latin, holistic herbs -- and not the usual ones (which are very familiar to me). When it worked the first month, I bought five more on eBay cheap, and put them in my kitchen drawer. I admit, I don't always remember to take them twice a day, but I am still certain they help.
I feel sort of like I'm recommending snake oil, but after the MUA reviews, I was curious. This works, for me. It is just lost in all the other BP and pills and drying lotions and, um, CRAP.
I hope it works for you. Certainly worth a try. . . |

Thanks for the info! I hope I can find it somewhere in Canada- I bought the Aveda balancing infusion SA (oil?) last night as reccommended by Olivia- I had this huge honker on my nose, and I put the Aveda oil on it and it actually decreased it by quite a bit- hopefully it will dissappear soon- my nose is already big enough with out any zits!

I have been dealing with acne for a very long time. I love dermalogica's daily microfoliant..since some of my breakouts are caused from lack of natural exfoliation. Since I can't use harsh acne products anymore(they make my skin super red and dry)..I stick to PCA's clearskin for a moisturizer. As far as facewash goes..DDF's Foaming cleanser has worked well for me. Another little item I have picked up from the drugstore is Neutrogena's advanced solutions acne mark fade peel. It is under $15, and works well to fade post acne red marks, as well as helps prevent breakouts. I usually stick to expensive spa products..but this cheap mask works well for me. I hope you find a few products that work well for you!! |
