Welcome back UK man.
I'm really pleased the hyperpigmentation is shifting at last. I'd say my oldest patch is perhaps 85% gone. The Vit C and other things have played a part, but I believe it's mostly been using exfoliation and the strongest copper peptides available. I was posting recently on another thread about it. I said

I'm now using Jan Marini's Bioglycolic a couple of times a week on my face (that is a stronger exfoliant) and SupercopX2 every second or third night. This is finally pulling it off. I am planning to write a review. The most interesting thing about this is I've only used the supercop on half of my face for several months now and I have patches of hyperpigmentation on both sides of my forehead. It's actually my first and oldest patch that is almost gone and this is the side I use the Supercopx2. This is doubly amazing considering I went quite tanned from sitting in my living room without sunscreen a little while ago and this should have brought it out again. I think like Guapagirl it really heals from the deepest layer and takes a long, long time. |
There are a couple of recent threads about CPs on this index page if you want to see some more about them.
copper peptides- who is using and what?
Anyone here had a mole removed?
I've also found a sunscreen I quite like - hallelujah - M |

UK man, you don't have to do exactly as I do, but if you must - buying a quarter ounce sample pot of the Supercop x 2 from here is extremely good value
http://www.dianayvonne.com/category/179availablesamples/
Look under 'Skin Biology Special Treatments'
a quarter ounce has lasted me months, it needs to be used really sparingly otherwise your face itches badly. It can also make you look a bit green or blue so it has to be a night treatment.
You don't need to use the Jan Marini bioglycolic facial lotion there are others, but if that's what you want it's here
http://www.essentialdayspa.com/jan-marini-bioglycolic-fa-p_1654.htm
I'm only using that because I've a free pot of it. I think it's a bit pricey, but it's up to you. If you use it shake it really well before using or it burns your face.
You could equally well use Exfol cream or serum from Skinbio - it's cheaper and not as strong. You could alternate with this - one night Exfol, one night Supercop.
Exfol Cream 2% Salicylic Acid 3.2 pH - 2oz.

I don't know if you're used to using chemical exfoliants, if not best start with the weaker one, the Exfol. And if you're using exfoliants be sure to use a good sunscreen the next day at least
BTW this takes several months to see any effect so you have to keep at it.
OK, happy shopping - Molly |
