Just ordered a sample of this from them. I plan on using it with a q-tip (cotton bud)on my particularly stubborn age spots on the tops of my hands and freckles that just appeared on my face near my eyes. They actually look sort of cute but I know they are just reminders of how the sun is ruining my skin. (In spite of my best efforts today, 20 years ago, those days spent in the sun are coming back to haunt me.)
Anyone else ever used TCA this way? Also, the sample formula is interesting in that it also includes 5% glycolic and 5% lactic acid in it. |

I did not use this exact product, though I did use a TCA product, very heavily concentrated for scar reduction. The way it worked was that I used a little stick (even smaller than a q-tip) and apply it on the area, and after 10 seconds, apply a neutralizer (some base) over it. A scab would form, and after few days, it would fall, and new skin would appear.
It worked pretty well. I have stopped using it though, because they require you not to exfoliate, all during the time when the scab has not fallen.
I don't know if that answers your question, but thought that I might share my experience with you.
Let us know how it works. Do their instructions specify not to exfoliate? |

Thanks for the info. I haven't received it yet so I don't know what the instructions will say. I bet at 20% I will have to work at it more than you did with yours...Will post when I get it and use it. |

Sorry for my ignorance ... what is "TCA"? I tried looking it up but couldn't find any info. |

I think something like Trichloracetic acid? Or some such? It's superduper strong. |
