Hi all!
Sorry if this is a repeat question, I have seen the dramatic results of Vitamin C Serum but most people have been using it on the face..
I want to resurface my calves due to scarring but don't know if it would be safe or even effective to use Vit C there. Could you please give some insight on this? Also, would Vit C + AHA combo be good to use?
Thanks in advance. |

I don't see why you would not be able to use it on your body. I think most people use it on their face because that's exposed to the sun most plus also because it's expensive to use all over (if you buy it rather than try to make it). |

It is expensive to use on your body but I have been applying it on my thighs and forearms where there are some dark freckles, etc. It's been about 4 weeks and they do look better. The freckles are not gone, but the skin in general looks better. More even in tone and nicer in texture. Once you get over 40, that skin can start to look a bit, well, papery, if you spent as much time as I did outside as a child.
I'm applying the C in the AM followed by sunscreen. I'm thinking that I will need to start mixing up a DIY product cuz I can't afford to put my C+ Firming on these areas forever. Maybe I'll do a test - one side DIY and other C+ and see what happens. |

Thanks for the replies!
Better@40, what brand of vit c do you use? That seems like a great experiment, to compare store bought vit c vs. DIY. Please let us know what the results are when you come up with the results, I'm sure some of us vit c users would like to know. |

I was checking out products recently, and can across Emergin C topical body lotion. It is under the cleansers and toners on EDS, but I think it is a body lotion. It is 15% C, as well as AHAs. The bottle is 8oz and it is $45 dollars. It is my next purchase...might be worth a look! |

I have heard that vit C can have some amazing effects on your cleavage area Get rid of that wrinkly look between your boobs (and same for your neck) |
