I have just ordered the bare minerals foundation kit. It includes 2 shades of foundation, mineral viel, and warmth, along with the brushes and instructional DVD. I have still yet to recieve it and it has been a week and a half. So I was wondering how everyone else liked bare minerals. Please tell me what you think about it and what I should expect out of what I ordered.

Thanks,
Shoegal

when I ordered it, they said 2 weeks. I don't know why it would take that long but I guess its true.

I just got my kit today! I used it about an hour ago and guess what. I really don't like it. I don't see anything special about it at all. I think that I will send it back! The coverage is not that great.

I bought Bare Minerals about a few days ago, and I am not impressed with it either. I have also had severe breakouts. I was using Sheer Cover and I am going to go back to it!

I have the multi-tasking Bisque and I'm not that impressed with this either Confused There is no way possible I can get any coverage with this dry, the only thing that works is applying it with a wet brush and even then it only lasts a few hours. It covered a tiny thread vien well, but again did not last long.

It is mineral makeup. It's good. But you can only purchase it from their website. www.sheercover.com. Let me know if you try it! Very Happy

I haven't tried BE, but I have tried some of the smaller, independent mineral make-ups. I really like corycosmetics.com. Lots of colors and samples are cheap too. I also tried some samples from a seller on E-bay. Divine Nature Cosmetics is the e-bay store name. I really like her foundations. Very fine milled and so soft on the skin. Coverage is very light with one layer so I have to apply it twice.

Anyway, if you like the idea of mineral make-up, you may want to do a search for samples and try some of the lesser known brands to see if you find something you like.

I just got my Sheer cover today and I like it a little bit better than BM! The coverage seems to be a lot better. Smile
