Bit off topic, not exactly skin care.....but has anyone tried this line of shampoos and conditioners? Have read some good things about the skin care line, I will write a review after I give the hair care a try Smile

I've only used Alba's body wash. I liked the scent, but I found this cleanser to be average. Not as moisterizing as I like.

The conditioner is fairly useless. Did nothing for my daughter's tangles or my dryness. My fave shampoo/conditioner of all time (and expensive, too)is Pureology. Heavenly!

I like the Alba ones that don't use sodium sulfates. Pureology just uses a different form of it and causes an allergic reaction on my scalp.

Oh wait! I love Alba! I have sensitive skin and don't care for how most shampoos irritate my scalp, and my best friend sent me the Alba travel kit with shampoo/conditioner, face scrub, body wash and lotion. Not only do they smell great, but I found them to be great.
NOW the shampoo DOES NOT suds up like regular shampoos because they don't use the cheap sudding ingredients... their shampoo is unusal at first, and maybe a bit more drying. But the conditioner was so rich and amazing that it balanced the shampoo quite nicely.
A visiting girlfriend used the conditioner and now its her favorite, and she has very dry, damaged hair.
Maybe you got a bad batch some how, as I love this line of products that smell like you're on a Hawaiian vacation!

Funny, Pureology causes scalp irritation on me, too! (Skin Adict)
Hope you have better luck; or maybe you don't need the 'pureness' of lack of chemicals... this line is made without the harsh chemicals in most products.... Rolling Eyes
