Hi, Sorry to bother everyone, but I need some advice on the above product. (:
1. Does this effectively hide red marks, uneven skin tone and pimples?
2. Is it an "obvious" product? Lol, when I say this I mean, can other people tell that you are using something on your face? Or does it pass the test as looking like something completely natural?
3. What can I mix this with to get a good spf protection, without looking like a grease field? (my face gets hyperoily by midday)
4. If I wear this, can I not wear foundation and powder anymore yet still have the covered up effect? Because I really dislike that powdery look.
Btw, I have the decleor ylang ylang oil sitting in my cupboard unused, so maybe I could start using that with this? Just that, I'm afraid the appearance will be too oily.
Well thanks alot everyone!
(Btw, my skin was really pimply but now its just mostly scars on cheeks and a bit of bumps the forehead and chin. Has calmed down because I think I reduced my regime to just the basic cleansing with dermalogica ultra calming cleanser, and sunscreen - dermalogica sheer tint spf 15. I also use some Jane Iredale foundation but I wish to drop this as my face becomes oily and streaky v easily with this. So i'm crossing my fingers that adding something new wouldn't initiate a break out.
If u have any experiences, bad or good with this product, please please please let me know!
eternally grateful

Hi there
right I will try to answer all your questions:
1. No it does not hide red marks or cover any blemishes or spots but it does even up your skin tone. The texture is very different to foundation, it is not as thick, comes out like cross between an oil and a cream. It is very sheer when you put it on.
2. No it does not look obvious, ie dark brown or leave any foundation lines around the side of your face It looks like you have got a very slight tan, I have NC20/25 colouring and for me it just warms my complexion up.
3. When I use mine I either mix with Dr Hauschka Normalising Day Oil or Jojoba Oil (Jojoba is better than the Dr H for days when skin is ultra oily), Grapeseed Oil (for days when may skin feels a little taught) or Sunscreen (I use Avene)
It is just like adding an extra ingredient so you will still maintain the properties of say the Sunscreen or the Day Oil.
When I wear the sunscreen I put on Jojoba then Avene mixed with Bronzer.
4. It really comes down to personal preference of how much make-up you like to wear, I tried the bronze underneath my MAC Studio fix powder foundation and whilst my complexion was flawless I did look like I had some make-up on, I like the no make-up at all look. I think if you are bothered about shine go for a blot powder applied sparingly over the top. I also use a little bit of concealer underneath this on any blemishes. But I find this no more shiny than any standard foundations.
With the decleor ylang ylang oil, use it on it's own first to seen if you like it then introduce the Dr H bronze.
When I first got the Bronze I admit I was disapointed I wanted some coverage but then once I got used to it I now use it every day, it is definately a summer product when you don't want to be wearing a lot of make-up, I like the way it just helps to even my skin tone up and warms up my complexion too.
I hope this has helped |

Yes, this is ultra-natural. So natural in fact that I can't see any difference on my skin at all and I don't have a tan now. Possibly a bit of a waste of time for warmer complexions. |

1. From my experience it definitely does not hide blemishes. It does even out the skin tone a bit if you use enough.
2. Looks pretty natural as long as you get an even distribution!
3. Not sure about this. . . I'm looking to try the Dr. H sun screen, will post about it when it happens. I mix mine with normalizing day oil and it is not too oily looking.
4. No, this is not going to make you feel covered up. It's very sheer and is meant to give you a subtle glow. |

do you think you could mix this with a toner or caudelie grape water? (i actually use a spritz moisturizer, so no creams to mix with . . .) |
