Hey Sweety,
This brand is one of the hot premium denim lines and its all over the fashion magazines. Haven't tried it yet, but I work for a retail clothing chain and our customers are crazy for Seven, Citizens of Humanity and Paige Jeans because of their gravity-defying, butt-lifting qualities. This feat is achieved by the way the fabric is cut and sewn together. When these jeans are on hangers they don't seem all that special, you really have to put them on to appreciate them.

Are you in the market for a new pair of jeans?

I say go ahead and try a pair on, can't hurt right? I have a hard time with jeans nowadays because the fashionable low rise cut does not work with my not-so-flat-anymore tummy Laughing

Have a great trip! Very Happy

I am a complete jean ho and love these! I am curvy and every time I wear them people say I look skinny. [always a good reason to buy something]. The onw thing to be aware of, is that they are super-long and you will probably have to get them french-seamed on the bottom - cost me around $15

Yes Sweety, I agree you're lucky. For not so slim legs try jeans with strategic fading - lighter color on the front of the legs and darker on the sides will visually make legs look leaner. Instant results!

Yikes, the alteration cost about $15! The jeans were about $250 [I justify this on a cost per wear basis, I live in jeans!]

Eeep! Embarassed I love jeans but I swore I would not pay more than 150 for a pair.. I just paid 190 for a pair of citizen's (Ingrid) and I am kicking myself. They look great but I broke my promise Wink

I really like the new ones from Victoria Beckham with the princess crowns on the pockets. But they're SOOO expensive.

Gosh Sweety I wish I had legs like yours! The shading strategy should still work for you if you're going for a leaner/longer look.

Belle, your cost per wear justification is totally legit. And jeans never go out of style!

SourApple, the Ingrid sells like hotcakes in the store chain I work for. I say if they look great and make you feel great then don't feel bad. Enjoy them!

The cuts in premium denim have stayed more or less the same, but I did notice the prices keep rising. Seven and Citizens used to retail for 121 USD and up. Nowadays its 180 USD or higher! Another line we carry at 250+ USD is the Antik Denim favored by Hollywood celebrities. They have great detailing such as heavy embroidery on the back pockets, side seam and even the hem. The distinguishing feature last year was the color wash and now its mostly the pockets. Late last winter we had the ones with Swarovski crystal or metal stud pocket details. Those were selling at the 200 USD mark.

Victoria's are in the $250-280 range.. which is about $100 more than I would pay. Jean prices are ridiculous, seriously!! Sad

Posh shouldn't model them, though, cuz the woman doesn't have an ass at all (unless you count the fact that she is one, but...) so her jeans look terrible on her! Shock

OOOHH, I want these!! I would never pay that much on jeans though.

I'm too cheap, I like GAP ultra low rise and J Crew hip slung currently.
