Okay, as Toe recently pointed out in another thread, there are Sallys Beauty supply stores located all over the UK, so our British friends are now able to join in on some of the fun. Now I’d like to call upon you all to help me come up with a list of items that our English pals absolutely must try.

I’ll start off, here’s my list:

• “Beyond the Zone” are Sallys’ answer to many Tigi Bedhead products and other salon brands. Several of the BTZ products are just as good as, if not better, than the originals and the highest priced BTZ product is under $6USD. Bedhead products, meanwhile, are easily three times that much.

• L’oreal Natures Therapy products - shampoos, conditioners, treatments and styling products, these are the “generic” versions of the “prestige” Kerastase line, both of which are actually made by L’oreal. I love and can recommend NT “Mega Moisture” shampoo and conditioner, which are in regular rotation in my shower. This line also has specialized products for those who heat-straighten their hair regularly, as well as products for those who want to emphasize their curls, and color-care products for those who dye their hair regularly.

• Orly nail polishes - these nail polishes are right up there with OPI and Essie polishes, but they are a couple of dollars cheaper.

• Beauty Secrets Ridge Filler nail base coat - it is silk-enriched and is the best ridge-filling basecoat I’ve ever used!

• Wella Color Charm professional hair dyes - if you are an experienced at-home hair color DIY, you absolutely MUST try Color Charm. It is the best hair color I have ever used, bar none.

• Savage Bronze self-tanner - I tried this once, but the color turned out too dark for my albino self, so I gave it to my mom who was thrilled with it. The color comes out brown, with no hint of orange, but I would say it would work best on those who are medium-complected or darker.

I know there are a ton of Sallys items that I’m forgetting, so I need the rest of you to jump in here and help me out!

Carrie

I rang my local Sally's this morning to find out if they stock the same product lines that are available in the U.S. The bloke who answered the phone (who sounded as if he was in his 70s) didn't appear to have a clue. However, I did some further research on the internet and I'm pretty sure that the UK stores must stock many if not all of the same products.
They certainly have 'Beyond the Zone' and 'Natures Therapy' products. Smile

According to Sally HQ in the UK. They don't stock all of the same product lines as in the U.S. Sad but they do stock some Smile . I guess it is just a case of going to your local store and having a look.
