Hello, I just tried Dr Hauschka toned (tinted) cream and really loved it as I heard it's also 100% natural (my friend's wife works in Paris in that co), was wondering if anyone tried the whole line.
I found lots of these products on manetane.com , how are the prices? |

I was hereing all these great things about the line. i went out about bought just about everything.. seemed to be working. but in the end it just make my skin worst.. it calms it nicely but with all the oil in the products it's not great for my acne prone skin..maybe someone with dry skin. |

I have very oily skin and loved the Dr H Cleansing Cream just not the price, I made up the homemade version and this is fantastic.
The toner is nice but againg I found I could make up my own at a fraction of the cost.
I love the Normalising Day Oil, use this every day but have also found that Jojoba Oil works well, sometimes better and my ultimated luxury is the Rejuvenating Face Mask, this is the one product I would repurchase without a doubt.
I have the Bronze and mix this with my Sunsceen.
The lipbalm is very nice and the eye balm is not worth the money unless you have very dry skin.
I would recomend getting an introductory tin first so you can try everything out |

I've tried:
Cleansing Cream
Cleansing Lotion
Toner
Rose Day Cream
Quince Day Cream
Steam concentrate
Rhythmic night conditioner
Revitalising Eye Cream
Rejuvenating Mask
Firming Mask
The only thing I did not like was the rejuvenating eye cream.... |

I've tried a lot of it, too:
Cleansing Cream (my favorite)
Clarifying Toner
Normalizing Day Oil
Moisturizing Cream
Rose Day Cream
Quince Day Cream
Facial Steam Bath - very good
Cleansing Clay Mask - love it
Rejuvenating Mask -- great for calming down my skin, I just used it to get rid of a large and painful deep pimple that was popping up on my nose and it's 90% gone overnight
Firming Mask
Bronze concentrate -- really not right for my skin tone, but I'm sure less pink and fair ladies could have success
Lip Balm -- nice but I don't like it being in a pot
Lip Care Stick
Eye Balm -- goeey and hard to apply makeup over, gets contaminated easily in a pot
Revitalizing Eye Cream -- it's OK, nothing to write home about
Eye Solace
Hand Cream
Body Oils
Bath Oils -- LOVE them
Lipstick -- very very nice consistancy, some nice colors, doesn't last very long though
Mascara -- not as volumizing as less natural products and not waterproof, but it is the only mascara that does not irritate my eyes so I use this constantly
Eyeliner -- some REALLY nice colors, I use the brown and the green/gray ones constantly |

I adore the Cleansing Cream! Its the only product that delivered immediate glow to my skin. That's all I've tried for now but I have an oily skin kit waiting to be tested. My skin has been sensitive lately so I have to be careful about new products.
Hiya chimera
Your comment got me excited about trying the Rejuvenating Mask. Got a new and angry eruption to deal with. Have you ever tried using it as an overnight spot treatment? I read on another thread that some people even use it under makeup in the day so it seems safe enough to leave on for a long period. |

I too have used some Dr H products
Let's see,
Cleansing Cream - I really like it but could feel the alcohol in it sting my skin so now I make my own
Clarifying Toner - again, too much alcohol
Normalizing Day Oil - this stuff is fabulous! You only need a teeny bit and the scent is devine!
Cleansing Clay Mask - I love this stuff!
Rejuvenating Mask - and this too, it doesn't dry hard, soothes and is also good for acne prone skin, perfect mask!
Lip Balm - love the scent and how it feels but like chimera, I don't like pots. I use it once in a while. |

Yeah, I did use the rejuvenating mask as an overnight spot treatment for my mean pimple! It still isn't totally gone, but it doesn't hurt any more which is good becauses it hurt A LOT, and it's much smaller. I should also be spot treating with the clay mask but I guess I'm being lazy. The rejuvenating mask is definitely one of the best products in the line -- for me at least -- right after the cleansing cream! |

Thanks chimera
I will try that. Those mean angry breakouts are nasty. Not only do they look bad, they don't let you forget they're there because of the pain. Its such a relief when they calm down! |

I like the following:
Cleansing Cream
Normalizing Day Oil
Rejuvenating Mask
Clarifying Toner
I guess the Rejuvenating Mask is not that strong because the instructions said that you can leave it on if you prefer. It also doesn't tell you to wash it off, just wipe it off after 10-15 minutes, i guess to get rid of the dewy look on your face. Not tried the others but I like the herbal scents of these products as oppose to those fruity/flowery stuff from others. It's a very unisex product. |

the products are VERY holistic. u either love the line or hate it. the toned day cream is my favorite too! the line is extremely expensive, to a fault i think. its just straight up unaffordable. |

I never bought this line and I did seriously considered it, but I could tell that it would give me major intensive skin care problems due the fact that it has pore clogging ingredients. I am a believer in essential oils but only to be used as a treatment, not to be used on daily basis as part of your regime. |

Some of the ingredients might be pore clogging, but if you actually follow the regimen suited for your skin type and deep clean once a week with their steam and clay masks then you should be alright and won't have to worry about pore clogging from the products. That being said I think people with acne think that it's going to cure it instantly which isn't hardly the case. I've been using Dr. Hauschka for about 3 months now steadily and it's been working for me. Any other products that I tried (drugstore products mainly) did not work and gave me reactions/breakouts. This line is just something you have to stick with for awhile to see changes. |

Every product will have people who love it and hate it because all of us have different skin types. I love the rose day light cream, some say it's too weak. I don't like the lipstick - as it dries out my lips - anything that's got vit e in it dries out my lips.
eye moisturizer is kinda neat - it's very light yet the skin is moisturized. Translucent powder is OK, really just ok, I feel it on my face, hence the OK and not superb.
Liquid eyeliner is a bitch to apply - I wish they'd make the handle and stick shorter so you are not doing it from a distance. The pen eyeliner smudges and disappears on me.
The mascara (the regular one, and not the volume one) I like the best, though I find I can't apply two layers - it drops on my lower eyelid after a few hrs.
The ingredients are very good and natural, I will be looking for some make at home recipes, because it's not cheap to buy it.
Edit to say: Anonymous - any natural product you have to give a while to start working. And steaming and clay masks is not proven recommended and may not work for everyone.
Skincare, In all the time I've been practicing aromatherapy I never heard of essential oils to be pore clogging and to be used only as special treatment. Mind showing references to backup this statement?
Perhaps you are confusing them with fixed oils? |

I have to second it. Dr.H balancing oil never absorbed and all it was doing was leaving me oily and shiny.
Cleansing cream broke me out in nasty white-heads.
Clarifying toner contains too much alcohol.
Lipstick was too much drying for me.
Firming mask is ok, but I did not see any firming, and taken the price of it, I don`t know what it is for.
The two things I will continue to use from this line are rejuvenating mask and bronzing concentrate (it is great when used with a whitening sunscreen). |

I didn't mean it like that, I just meant that people need to give things a chance and not just expect radiance or something after one use. and also they should use whats recommended for them by the Dr. Hauschka line itself. |

I love this line and think that the Daily Revitalising Eye Cream is the best eye cream I have ever tried, miles better than Cellcosmet Eye Contour Cream or valmont in my opinion.
I also really love the Childrens Sunscreen SPF 30 and the Body Silk.
I agree with Michelle411 I think it's a love or hate line and appeals most to people who totally buy into the holistic philosophy which I do as I'm a bit of a granola chick!
One of the main things I gained from using the Dr Hauschka line was to be less reactive in treating my skin. In the past I was prone to jump from one product to another and to being far too aggressive in my hope of seeing results and changes in my skin. Using Dr H I learned to be a lot kinder to my skin and give it time to heal and perform it's natural functions which in turn allowed my skin to become healthier and look better but it did take a few months.
I don't suppose that would apply to everyone but if you have been giving your skin a hard time then I really recommend anyone to try this line out. |

Agree with you - there is no such thing as immediate effect, and if there is it's most likely not very healthy, and not prolonged. |

I was extremely intrigued by the holistic approach this company takes, but never leaped into their skincare routine... then again, I'm pretty pleased with my skincare routine.
I absolutely LOVE their makeup... the translucent finishing powder is beautiful... the eyeshadows glide on just like the silk contained within, and their mascara --- while it won't give you big lashes...at least you don't have to worry about the toxicity of ingredients. But it's too expensive... Way too expensive, so I've had to give up on this line and look for alternatives. |

I didn't find it too expensive. Not compared to some big box store brands like lancome or others.
Any mascara would be starting from $20 and up. I find it's actually in the lower price range of quality products. |

I really like their deodorant! I tried both scents- Rose and Fresh- and I find them both equally effective. It goes on smooth, like a light cream, and keeps the smell away! I read somewhere that it's Martha Stewart's favourite deodorant as well! |
