Has anyone tried the Dermatix Gel?

Hello everyone,
I just went to the Women's Show in Calgary yesterday and I went to the Dermatix Gel/Glyquin booth. They show pics of people who have tried the Dermatix Si Gel and the results were incredible! Scars and marks were totally transformed! I have some acne scarring and would like to get rid of them. Has anyone tried this product?

Hi, as someone who was prompted to register so I could respond to your question, I would say without a doubt that Dermatix Si Gel changed my life.

I was in a car accident and had a cut to my upper lip between my nostril and lip line which developed into a keloid. I have not noticed that the scar has gotten so much smaller but when I use the gel everyday, I notice that the scar stays small. If I don't use it regularly, my scar grows somewhat.

I hope this helps as Dermatix enabled me to be confident and not as self conscious as I think I would be without something that is working. Definitely worth it.

**Edited to add: If you have an acne scar that is red but healed, Dermatix will make it fade faster. If you have an icepick type scar, I am not sure if this would be an effective product as I don't think it helps stimulate collagen production. Love the product!

If you haven't seen my photos, know that I am very fair. Boo-boos heal, but they're awfully pink for a while.

I've been using Dermatix SI since the end of April (daily), and though I've not applied it for nearly two months, things are looking very good. Major surgery takes time to recover-from, as do incisions to heal. Mine are nearly reduced to ... slight, barely visible white lines.

I´ve heard a lot about this gel; but I´m not sure if it´s going to work in my situation (little holes on my cheek).

I have started using it yesterday and will let you all know how I go. I had surgery on my left arm to remove a melanoma two months ago which is around 10cm long, red and bumpy, not a pretty sight.

Hopefully this will make it better.

I was just wondering how your progress is coming along with this product. I am very tempted to purchase it, I have an old chickenpox scar near my eye that bothers me. I have very tan skin, so the scar is a darker brown. Do you think it would work on this type of scar?

Only trouble is it costs £100 over the counter from well known chemist. Can anybody tell me if it is worth it? She needs it for the whole upper half of her bodt so would need quite a lot. I wonder if it is available on NHS.

Unfortunately I don't have any personal feedback on Dermatix but, regarding the price, if you click on the product shot at the top of the thread it will take you to the EDS storefront where it is considerably less expensive.

Have you tried it before?

I really do not trust such product right now. Because since half a year ago, I started to use Mederma scar treatment on my leg. My skin felt very very dry at that time, and began to decorticate itself. And, after 4 months, I found that my scar had nothing changed.....
