I'm still bugging Jane Iredale about when they are going to release their lip plumper...so until then, does anyone know of a NATURAL (Healthy enough to eat) lip-plumper?

I don't really need one, but I love the tingeling feeling and glossy look I got from wearing "the Plump"...but the ingredient list did not fit my requirement for natural. Very Happy

Cinnamon Leaf Oil (just a drop or two) added to your favorite gloss or lip balm will slightly plump your lips....and will definitely give you that "tingle".

I've been using the Avocado oil with a tiny bit of cinnamon and peppermint oil. Makes my lips look good but the first time I used too much of the oils and it burned.

I posted a recipe for homemade Lip Venom on the ~~~ DIY Skincare Recipes ~~~ sticky thread in the Skincare Forum. If you like lip plumping products that give you that fiery burn/tingle, then I seriously recommend you try the “Lip Pulse” or “Stung” topical lip plumpers available on Ebay for $10. Here’s the list of ingredients for these items:

Lip Pulse All-Natural Lip Plumper works in two important ways:

It contains ingredients that produce an immediate increase in hydration, causing a noticeable - yet painless - swelling of the lips.

Olive Oil- The hydration properties in olive oil are so powerful that the ancient Greeks used to bathe in it; Applied daily it will quickly moisturize and hydrate dry and chapped lips. You're not going to be using that much so we include the best olive oil; extra virgin; Pure and Light olive oil has been chemically processed, avoid it.

Coconut Oil - Coconut oil is one of nature's richest skin moisturizers making it ideal for use on the lips;

Grapeseed Oil - Used for skin toning and protection; a natural source of vitamin E plus skin-nourishing fatty acids.

BOLDPumpkinseed Oil - Organic Pumpkinseed oil is equally composed of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats. It also contains both alphalinoleic and alphalinolenic acids making it a deep penetrating moisturizer.

BOLDCamellia Oil - Is very high in oleic acid. It has been used to moisturize and condition the skin.

Lip Pulse Lip Plumper exerts a profound influence on fat cells just below the surface layer of lip tissue (yes, it's subcutaneous fat cells that make lips full and plump) so, as your lips increase in size, they look natural and stay soft. No one but you will know why your lips suddenly look fuller, sexier, and more appealing... but everyone will see the difference.

Avocado Oil - A research paper by Valette and Sorbin reported that the skin-penetrating properties of avocado oil had the highest rate of skin penetration and the ability to transport active substances through the outer epidermis of the skin and into the dermis for increased effectiveness.

Capsicum Oil - Extremely hot. By comparison, a jalapeño pepper has a rating of about 3,500 SHU. This is over a MILLION! When diluted in essential oils capsicum oil tones down the heat yet retains its incomparable ability to deeply penetrate and swell the lips.

Jojoba Leaf - Jojoba leaf is an antioxidant that helps fight against free radical damage caused by environmental irritants like pollution, radiation and cigarette smoke.

Cassia Leaf - It is a physical and emotional stimulant and gets the blood and mind in motion.

Wintergreen Oil - The “cool heat” of wintergreen gives penetrating and lasting inflammation.

Menthol - Menthol's deep penetrating properties impart a tingling and swelling sensation to the skin.

Spearmint Oil - Clears, stimulates, and restores congested skin.

Clove Oil - Stimulates the skin and mucus membranes.

Black Currant Oil - These essential fatty acids are precursors of prostaglandins, which are involved with dilating blood vessels.

After intense all natural stimulation, Lip Pulse Lip Plumper soothes, protects and heals your lips to ensure optimal health and size.

Peppermint Oil - is a soothing all natural muscle relaxant leaving your lips lucious and relaxed.

Vitamin E Oil - promotes healing, protecting cells from free-radical damage and reducing itchiness. Many people use such products to ensure optimal skin health.

Carekate: Thanks. This list should be on DIY just because it tells what each ingredient is supposed to do.

Hi!
Had a look at both 'Pulse' and 'Stung' on Ebay and am a bit confused! Confused
They are both sold by the same person and the ingredients look the same - so what's the difference? They both look good - which one should I go for?

Thanks!!

They are the same, so you only need to purchase one or the other. Don't ask me why the inventor created the stuff and then decided to call it by two different names cuz I have no idea!!

CareKate - Thanks - was beginning to think I was having a 'moment'!!! Laughing

Bit worried they might sting a lot - I've used Philosophy's 'Big Mouth' and that tingled quite a bit but was ok - as to the results (plumping and flushing) - well I'm not sure I guess my lips did look a bit plumper but its hard to tell as they look bigger with gloss on anyway...
Currently canvassing for opinions on 'Phat Lips' or which plumper is the best to buy. (Don't want to do the supplement thing - got worried by some people saying their noses grew etc!! Laughing )

I posted a mini-review on Lip Pulse/Stung at this link, if you want to check out: http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=7199&highlight=lip+pulse I’m not going to lie to you – it *really* stings/burns the first couple times you use it, but after that my lips became “acclimated” to it and I really no longer feel anything more than a mild tingle when I apply it now.

That's too bad, because that's the one sure-fire way to get your lips plumped up....it was only one person who said her nose grew, nobody else had that result so it most likely wasn't related to the HA/collagen supplements.
