Hi
Has anyone tried the Age-Limit Advanced Refinishing Serum from CellularSkin - they make Relax-a-line as well.
Thanks

Yes, I've got it and think that it's a very good AHA serum. I alternate using this with the Jan Marini one (that also has BHA) and I'm very happy with that arrangement
I know that Betterat40 uses this and likes it as well. |

Yes, I do. I love it. I did not use it for about one week and then I used it again. Wow! I could really see a difference the next morning. I must have really built up some dead skin quickly. But it's gone now! AHA's are just so nice for smoothing and clarifying. |

I don't have a lot to add other than what has been previously said but I have used this and agree that it is a nice serum.

| I just read the other thread. What is the difference between Argierline (sp) and Arginine? Thanks in advance. |

I alternate cuz my skin cannot handle Retin-A every night. If your skin can handle both, I'd use both. I think I would molt like a snake if I did that though. The thing about Age Limit is that it is made for sensitive skin so you are probably much less likely to have any problems.
Argeriline is the trade name for the wrinkle-relaxing ingredient, acetyl hexapeptide-3.
Arginine is the amino acid that the glycolic/lactic acid is combined with in the Age Limit so the delivery of the acid is done over a certain time period to avoid the irritation that occurs when the acid is not buffered. Does that make sense? The cellularskinrx.com site says it much better than I can. |

| makes sense betterat40! I did check out the site and found the definitions. Thanks. P.S. I asked you a question on another thread. Could you tell me what Vit C you are using, as you mentioned in 2 weeks you got a "glow" from it and this is what I am looking for! Thanks in advance. |

Gosh thanks betterat40! Can't wait to try it
I think my skin can handle using both
rileygirl, I believe that betterat40 uses CellularSkinRx +Firming Serum as her Vitamin C. It is 12.5%. I use it as well. And just like with any Vit. C, you do get a glow! It's just that like betterat40, I like the slippery feel of this vitamin C. Best to see what works for you, really dry vitamin c (like SkineCeuticals) or slippery ones like SkinCRx + Firming and i think the Vivier20 is getting good reviews as having a slight "slip". |

Question for betterat40, can the Age-Limit Advanced Refinishing Serum be applied under the eyes? |

| I use it around my eyes but not directly underneath. More around the orbital bone area...I'm a little wary of putting much of anything close up to my eyelid. By the way, this past weekend, the Cellular Skin Rx people were having a buy one, get 10% off, buy two get 20%, etc. But only for the weekend. They are having weekend only specials each week now that change from weekend to weekend. |
