O.k im about to embark on a new skin care regeime as im concovinced now that the pevonia products are breaking me out.
now i've narrowed it down to: Dermalogica Oily Skin Kit or Acne Prone kit
I have an oily
T-zone, the skin around my eyes is normal-dry. My cheeks are oily and my beard area is normal-dry.
i'm tempted by the Acne Prone kit because it has the Medicated Clearing Gel and Anti-Bac Cooling Masque.
but the Oily Skin Kit has a Soothing Eye Make-Up Remover which i will have no use for
also is there any point in getting my face mapped befoe i order any products |

Hi,
When you start using the Dermalogica for acne skin your skin will break out a bit. I love the products!! I found that the medicated clearing gel is a must have!! I also sometimes use the Oil Control lotion from time to time.
The kit did dry my face out a lot so I had to supplement with other products.
If its too drying you can use the hydrating booster under the oil control lotion, works really well.
Good Luck,
I hope your skin clears up. Also the ANtibac Cooling Mask is a must have!! Works really well.

Like Feliz said, your skin may break out worse while it gets used to an entire new line of products. I would suggest introducing things more gradually so it's not such a shock to your skin (just from personal experience - for me things got slightly worse before they got better). And also, please keep in mind that these are not miracle products. Whilst they should help your skin, as far as I know there is no one super duper product that will fix your skin over night or probably even over a week. Be patient and give the products time to work! Also, consider other factors in your life, such as your diet, exercise, stress levels etc as these things all effect your skin. One last thing, if your skin is combo (partially dry) you should be careful using products that are to harsh. These will only strip the skin of necessary oils, thereby causing you to break out more. The simple and gentle approach usually works best. Good of luck and I hope the dermalogica line works for you. |
