Hi you all,
Summer is three months away here in Brazil and I want to look good in my bathing suit,so I'd like to know if you can recommend any anti cellulite cream that's really efficient. I'm thin and I don't have much cellulite, but I still want to improve the appearance of my thighs.

I have found that vigorously massaging in an AHA body lotion (jergen's smoothing or Paula's Choice 10%)seems to really help mine to go away. I think the massaging is the key. I find just applying the lotion is not enough. And when I quit massaging, I can see the lumps and bumps come back.

I agree with Betterat40.

I use plant oils (EPO, wheatgerm etc) with grapefruit, lemon and some other citrus essential oils as a nightly massage lotion on my shins and thighs.

The key is to massage while applying the oil. It really made a difference to my thighs.

I have also been thinking about using ground coffee and ginger pulp as a massage/exfoliation step in the shower. Helps to improve the circulation to breakdown fat.

I heard putting perperation H (sp) on your legs/thighs and then wrapping in plastic wrap & leaving it on overnight, makes a HUGE difference.
I don't have cellulite - thats the only reason why i havent tried it, but i knew someone who did and she *SWORE* by it.

I use Darphin Intensive Body Firming Gel. Although, doesn't get rid of the cellulite, it does seem to firm the areas so doesn't look too bad! Worth to try!

On a recent episode of Dr Oz he actually recommended this as a temporary helper.
I haven't tried it on cellulite but I love coffee grinds mixed with oil as a scrub.

My friend works at one of the best spas in the city and she advised to mix ground coffee with honey and rub that into your problem areas twice to three times a week and you'll get rid of cellulite.

I never heard of using prep. H. I need to hear more about it before I give it a try. I am using Lac-Hydring AHA 12% and Elacyl and I find that works very well. I do plan on trying other brands and did try Clarins. I don't like it because the "minty" tingle eventually burns my skin. As for its effectiveness, it is not as good as Elancyl.

I got myself and my son & DIL portable dry saunas for Christmas. It has helped with sweating out the toxins and water weight, let's see how it helps with cellulite.

I believe that creams could give temporary results for as long as they are used ,but the main reason they don't work is that they contain mainly water and alcohol instead of anti-cellulite ingredients that come in very small quantities.I am trying to find a cream with good quantities of caffeine ,aminophylline etc.

This way seems the most natural and cheapest! Very Happy

May I know the ratio of the mixture of ground coffee and honey?? 1:1? or I should add more ground coffee and less honey??

'factors that cause cellulite are eating fatty foods, wearing tight underwear (cutting off circulation in the buttocks area), smoking, high stress lifestyle, standing or sitting in one position for long periods of time, starchy foods, too , too much salt, not enough fiber and lack of exercise'
You fix each of the above problems you may have and lather on some Shea butter and you are good to go

I had posted this on the DIY forum but in the wrong place but a month or so ago I came across this great home made tincture to help treat cellulite using mostly different tea and coffee
http://www.organicauthority.com/delicious-beauty/natural-diy-skin-care-cellulite-treatment.html
I mix it into a lotion and it doesn't smell bad you can also tweak it; I added ginkgo and gotu kola herbs when making mine.

Hi skincare,

I got interested in the Elacyl line, but unfortunately they are not sold in Sweden..
Do you purchase the Elacyl from a online store?
Any recommendations?

Another one here who also agrees that massage can help to reduce the apperance of cellulite. Also have you tried dry body brushing. This really helps to increase circulation and exfoliation. Just google dry body brushing for more info.
