I am a new member and have read most every post about the wonderful secrets and reviews of the beauty products here. Thanks to all who take time to share their experiences... 
BTW: Now am looking for Hair products : any reviews ? Shampoos/conditioners/hair brushes/hair dryers/hair colors  BTW I did try Dr. Hauschka hair conditioner - I dont think I liked it as much. did not leave my hair soft and silky. I had used Surya henna color and conditioner.... their conditioner was out of this world 
So lets hear from the beauty *gurus* about the hair products they have tried ....

I dont' think I qualify as a guru but here's my 2 cents worth:
My hair starts falling out like crazy after 2-3 washes with ANY shampoo that has sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate (and I do know slightly differ, but that doesn't matter to my hair!).
So I try to stick to natural shampoos, without harsh foaming agents. It takes longer to get the hair really clean, but I find I usually have much less buildup and more volume from this.
Currently I'm enjoying Avalon's Lavender and Rosemary shampoos and cond's. I alternate between these and Aubrey Organics and Herbal Glow (Herbal Glow is awesome! but it's Canadian so I'm not sure whether it's available elsewhere). |

| I didn't like the Hauschka conditioner either. I have dryish color treated hair and I use Swimmer's Conditioner from Aubrey's and it's GREAT! I leave it on a few minutes every night and it lives my hair in fabulous condition. I did like the Dr. Hauschka shampoo, but since I have an itchy scalp I use Calagula Fern shampoo from Aubrey's, too. |

i've got really curly, somewhat thin hair, usually frizzy hair. All of the products I use are for 'dry or damaged' hair. My hair isn't damaged or treated, but it can be kind of dry. I've been using frizz ease shapmoo and conditoner, but lately (AFTER I get out of the shower) I've been adding a little bit of Herbal Essence Deep Conditioner (yeah, you're supposed to wash it out)... and I've noticed (even the first time) that my hair is VERY SOFT. I don't know if that's what you're going for...  |

There are alot of delicious hair products out there, and Kerastase is probably at the top of the list for super effectively dealing with a slew of problems. It really is pricey though.....
I started using Terax years ago when I did a semester in Italy... There, it is a drugstore brand. Even after all these years, and even though its priced much higher here, AND even though I love trying different shampoos and conditioners, I always come home to Terax. Check it out... |

After years of trying everything on the market-enough stash to open my own salon...I finally settled on Fred. Fekkai's Glossing shamp & cond. Not heavy, dosen't over-moisturize. I have fine/normal frizzy/wavy (go curly in summer) hair. I used to have tons of hair, but let's not go there. I alternate with his curling shamp. & cond. and I'm happy with my hair(it only took 25 years).
Oh, the glossing leave-in is definitely a great product. It's the only thing I've actually re-purchased, along with the shamp. & cond. |

OMG I loveeeee the Fekkai glossing cream. I have very thick hair and with the humidity in the d.c. area, my hair gets absolutely WILD. I don't always have time in the morning to blowdry my hair and, with this product, it really isn't a problem at all.
I've tried the Technician Shampoo and a couple of other products in this line. I like all of them, but found them to be unremarkable... |

Katee, I know I hated the technician shamp. It completely dried out my hair.It contains sodium lauryl sulfate-very drying & strips color-anytime I read that ingredient in a shampoo I leave it alone!! It took raves from MUA to get me to try the glossing line. Have you tried the shea butter? I hear it's great for thick hair-lucky girl!!  |

My hair is super fine and I don't have a lot of it. It greases up easily and breaks off easily too.
Nioxin protectives cleanser and scalp therapy have done a wonderful job for me. I see regrowth in areas where my hair had all broken off and the hair seems fuller (even my hairdresser commented!)

| I have been using Pureology for the past few months. I really like it! I use the volumizing shampoo and conditioner and the safeguard spary. I also use the hair thickening mask and the intense conditioner - once a week. It has zero sulphates! |
