I feel awful for you, purpleturtle!! You didn't break anything, did you??? From what I can see your gorgeous bone structure is intact...I had a whopper of a black eye about 6 months ago - I used the Kamins eye cream recommended for post-surgery/bruising - and I swear that my black eye was gone in less than a week - I ended up with NO broken capillaries - nothing - I was amazed - thought I'd mention it, just in case you were interested.... Rest well - hope you feel better soon!

from what i can see i dont have any broken caps YET..not sure i can get them from blood traveling to my eye...or that it just is caused from the impact of wherever it hit. My moms out getting me the arnica gel right now, which i will put on my eye and side...i continue taking anti inflammatory meds every 4-6 hours and keeping a nice ice pack on it. Thanks for the advice:) |

Purpleturtle, I'm so sorry! I want to pass on my sympathies, for the death of your friend and now this too.
I would definitely take some ibuprofen (advil) for the swelling and use ice for short amounts at a time. |

It was actually my uncle who had died. He died of lung cancer after quitting smoking more than 20 years ago. Whats even more sad is that he was layed out for viewing on his birthday (he would have been 63).
Ive been taking ibuprofin but then i realized today that its expired so ive been taking the arnica tablets as well as the cream. No results yet... |
