Hi,
Since you seem to always know what will and will not work for fuller lips I have a question. I found this new product at the following address: http://www.firstimpressionlips.com/firstimpression/index.cfm?action=promo&pc=FI082405wAA1&acode=FE55D309&pcode=5EB6DED1&rotator=yes
Since it contains the same things as the HA pills would you work as well?
Also one more thing... I just finished my first tube of LipFusion. I am going to Sephora in the next couple of weeks and I wanted to know if you thought I should stick to the clear or go to a color one? If so what color do you think? I tired GLOW and was not that impressed! I bought my LipFusion in April and and I just NOW ran out. It lasts forever!
Please let me know!
Thanks! |

The free trial is only available to people in the US
I'm on my 2nd Lip Fusion treatment Thatgirl, and have stuck with 'clear'. From what I've read the tinted line is very opaque and doesn't give much colour. But, I'll sit back and wait for confirmation from Carekate (our resident expert on all things plumping)

I see this product is made by Hydroderm. I love free product but Hydroderm concerns me. In the past they get your information for a free trial and then autoship it to you and charge your credit card full price. I did not see in fine print anything about autoship but please email them first to be sure before your purchase. |

I wouldn’t bother with that other lip plumper. First of all, I tried Hydroderm’s *first* lip plumping product and it did nothing but completely dry out my lips. Secondly, based upon my own experience either applying a pure HA serum topically to my lips, or applying a so-called Collagen treatment (something by Sally Hansen, can’t recall the name right now ) directly to my lips, neither one of them gave me any results whatsover. Therefore it would appear that the magic combination of HA and collagen only plumps lips when it’s taken internally. Nothing in Hydroderm’s new lip plumper, neither the ingredients nor the “technology,” sounds like it would be at all effective in plumping lips.
Also, unless you can buy Hydroderm products from an actual store, I would completely avoid ordering anything from their website because – as Winnie and VeeNVegas previously stated – there are too many horror stories from other EDS members getting ripped off by Hydroderm and their “free trial offers.”
FYI - when I tried Hydroderm’s original lip plumper, I bought it directly at a GNC store, which gave me a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you *really* want to try this product, then I’d suggest you check to see if it’s available at your local GNC store. But please note that it is only larger GNC stores, like those located in major shopping malls, that typically carry these type of “speciality” products, so you most like won’t be able to get any Hydroderm product at the GNC store located in a small, corner “strip mall” location.
As for your next tube of LipFusion, like Anya said, the colored versions really don’t have enough pigment to them so the colors barely show up on your lips at all. If you’ve simply got your heart set on trying one of the colored LipFusion versions, then the only one that really shows up with any color on your lips at all is the red one, I think it’s called “Sexy”?
HTH,

I absolutely love the Lipfusion sexy tint combined with Hyaluronic acid w/biocell. The clear lipfusion leaves my lips too white, but the "sexy" works best for me. Sometimes I add another shade of lipstick over my lipfusion for variety. The "sexy" gives my lips a beestung look.

Well, I'm thinking that they must have changed the formula somewhat but my Fresh Pout from the cellularskinrx people has totally plumped my lips up. I mean really. But I can't say that I think it feels good. They feel swollen and tight but definitely look bigger. Since I've been using this stuff for awhile and always liked it for its moisturizing ability, I'm somewhat surprised that it seems to be making my lips swell now. It's a good thing though. I always wondered what they would look like bigger. Now, I know. |

That doesn’t sound good! None of the topical plumpers I’ve tried have left me with that type of result. Could you possibly be having some type of allergic reaction to one of the ingredients if they *have* reformulated it? You might try emailing them and asking if they’ve made any changes recently just to be sure. |

Good idea. I'll give them a call. I do like the plumpness though. I guess every rose has its thorn, eh? I can only use it about every third day now. It's not irritating when I put it on or anything like that. I have started using Retin-A closer to my mouth for vertical lip lines. Do you think it would migrate to the lips? |
