EOS and Jack Black are some really good ones that I've tried recently. I'm still using the Nivea essential (dark blue) |

I've never been one interested or have used lip balm in the past. At the moment however, my lips are starting to feel really dry and cracked so I read through the thread and got some useless products to look into and try now |

My favorite lip balm is the Lacura brand which is sold exclusively at the discount grocery store chain, Aldi. I prefer the pearl color. This product also comes in two other types also.
The Lacura lip balm is sold in a 3-pack, and it costs $1.50. It is truly a wonderful product in addition to being an enormous bargain!

The Body Shop has different fruitty flavoured lip butters which are very rich and smooth. I'm using the mango lip butter. Just wish that the scents aren't so overpowering as I don't always like to feel like I'm eating some overly sugary fruit. |

My new favorite: Badger Creamy Cocoa stick, first two ingredients are cocoa butter and olive oil... very nice! Badger also makes a zinc SPF 15 stick that I like, it's just a bit whitish.
Still love the Body Shop Cocoa Butter lip care stick, but Badger is a lot cheaper and slightly better. |

I like the rosebud slaves. I know some people find it too waxy, but I like how it coats my lips, especially in the winter. |

I take back what I said about EOS. While they have very delicious scents, they are a bit too waxy and requires a bit of pressure in order to get it on the lips. |

I would say Burt's Bees is the best, as it is all natural. |

Love Love Love EOS lip balms. EOS = Evolution of Smooth. I am also happy to say that they are now available in Canada atwww.well.ca
My favourites are the 'sphere' shape in sweet mint and summer fruit. I have been using this lip balm for approx 2 yrs now and still love it. Everytime I try a new one, I return to EOS. It is the only lip balm I've tried that I actually use until it is empty ! |

Agree 100% - I apply before going to bed and it helps to moisturize my lips while I sleep.
The best part is that I got it as a free gift with one of my EDS orders. |

^ I'm about to go out and get some of that. I never get chapped lips, except once a few years ago when Blistex did the trick, literally overnight.
I've had a sore lip for a couple of weeks now and am surprised that coconut oil & carmex in addition to my own diy lip balms hasn't worked yet. I was trying to be all natural about it (apart from the carmex, which I've never tried before), but I'm fed up!
I'm tempted to try other natural ones, but its not like its a regular thing or I'm going to bathe in the stuff so gimme MEDICATION! |
