hi, i face a couple of black dots on my face (been there for as long as i can remember), and i was wondering, are they considered skin blemishes/mole?
also, is there anyway i can gradually remove them permanently without using laser treatment? i had once tried scratching them, but it sorta faded, but came back after my skin healed
rgds,

A blemish wouldn't stay around for as long as what you have described, and a mole would not "scratch off".
Moles are typically raised. Blemishes, unless they're blackheads, are usually raised too. I cannot see a blackhead being around for that long.
It's possible that what you have is melanin-deposit. These can occur hereditarily, with the use of oral contraceptives/hormone replacement therapy, or sun exposure.
Primcay/Skinceuticals Phyto + Corrective Gel is an excellent product to break-up melanin deposits, and to prevent more from occurring. Always use a sunblock too, such as Skinceuticals Daily UV Defense SPF 30.
If your mark becomes irregular, changes color, size, etc. please see a dermatologist. Better safe than sorry! |

mine aren't raised up, so i suppose they are melanin deposits, i will try the product you have mentioned below and post the results! =) thks for the assistance, btw, are melanin-deposits permanent? i seem to notice a few more appearing on my hands/legs (small ones though) i'll order a package of the product you mentioned below and see how it goes... |
