Anyone here try this brand before? Their concealers, foundations, or powders? Heard they use natural ingrediants and it's hypoallergenic. Pls share your comments. Thank you! |

I've used the pressed powder (mineral). I've tried transparent and beige. I like the transparent one very much! It has NO coverage, but it does give me a nice finish looking. I used it as setting powder over other foundation, or I used it along when I just want a little "decoration". I don't like the beige one though it covers better, it is darker than my skin.
I've also used its concealer (in square box). It is nice comparing to other products in the same price range. |

Thanks Bluefish! I was planning to get the mineral pressed powder too!! Btw what do you mean by giving you a nice finish looking? So it has no coverage at all? Then what about reducing the pores or even out your skintone?
So the concealer that you're using is the one in a cube box? How does it feel like? Does it go on smoothly? Does it cover dark circles btw? haha...sorry for the questions |

Stardustdy,
Sorry for the late reply and also my poor English. I will try to explain it more clearly:
I became crazy about mineral MU recently and I have tried various brands: JI, AL, Purelex, JL, BFM... All of the mineral powder I mentioned above made pores more visible. I tried to figure out the reasons: that the pores on my face are too large and they can hold the powder very well! It might be my poor application skill too.
Now go to the point, Physician's fomula is the only one that did not sink into pores. The lightest shade of the mineral pressed powder is transparent (It gives a little coverage with the shade similar to JI's warm silk). So I was looked like wearing no makeup after applying it, but it did make me looked nicer: natural, clear with matte finish (shining skining will exaggerate my dark spots leaved by acen), and the pores are less visible. It is very safe for my acne-prone skin.
The brush within the box is too hard. I use JI's handi brush to apply it. They are good match.
I've only tried Netrogena, Almay, Clinique (the green pen for acne) to cover my pimples and freckles. So I can only say the concealer is better than Netrogena and almay's acne wands. But I can not compare it with others, especially for dark circles.
I hope this will be helpful. |

Thank you bluefish!! And don't worry about the late reply, at least you reply my post! Anyway, since you're saying all good things about this powder, I'll definitely give it a try. So the JI's handi brush, is it those big round fluffy brush? Anyway, waiting for your reply. Thank you so much! |

Yes, the JI handi a middle-big round, flat-end brush, which is nice for applying mineral powder, especially the pressed powder. It is cheaper in skinwest.com. |
