My eye contour area is generally darker than the rest of my face. So its not just dark circles, its also eye lid circles!!! Anyone has remedy for this?? I hv been using Vit C around my eye area but no diff. I also invested in CSR Eye bright serum, been using for abt a month, no diff too. Previously i tried PTR Power K...n no diff again. I read in previous threads that eye circles could be due to various reasons and not all can be fixed?? Have i got some of those? I plan to try teamine next but im losing hope desperately. |

Have you got any allergies that you know of? Sinus problems? Is it perhaps hereditary?
I would suggest that you try lymphatic drainage massage - I've read that the darkness (and puffiness) can be caused by the retained fluid. Also, try sleeping on a higher pillow so that the fluid can be easier drained away during the night. These are just some of the suggestions that I read about years ago when I was trying to figure out a solution to mine.... |

Thanks for your suggestions Mabsy. Are u referring to getting a lymphatic drainage massage at a professional salon? I havent thought abt that cos the few times i attempted eye treatments i didnt find they helped much. But those were just regular ones. Wat about eye masks? Hv u come across one whc u found useful in lightening dark circles? |

I have dark eyelids too, and have found that it helps to just add a bit of yellow-based concealer to my eyelids after using my eye cream in the morning. (I'm using a concealer in a pot by Lorac right now.)
I know it's not permanent, but they don't bother me too much, and it really brightens up my eye area.
Hope that helps... |

I had dark eyelids as a teenager because I was nutrient deficient...so some good food-based multivitamin might be a good addition. Just a thought...you might be able to use the dark eyelids to your advantage...maybe treat it as a permanent eye-shadow and put brown on top to accentuate instead of trying to lighten (that's what I did as a teenager)? |

You can get the lyphatic drainage done at a salon but you can also do it yourself. I guess going to a salon first and figuring out what they do might be handy though
Sorry, I can't think of any spectacular masks that help with dark circles. |
