Hi everybody, I know some of you have spent many $$ on skincare her, so I hope you can give me some suggestions.
I went for a facial yesterday, to have those germs extracted (I've had breakouts constantly since may, not bad acne, only annoying), and the aesthetician told me she'd believe my breakouts would stop if I calmed down my skin.
I'm 23, have dehydrated normal/dry skin, and a bit sensitive on my cheeks.
She recommended me Guinot Hydrazone or Guinot Creme Nutrition Confort, but I haven't heard of that brand before.
Have any of you got experiences with this brand? Or any other suggestions for my skin? I will be very greatful!
Also chunlisa, is the Yonka Juvenil drying? (I still feel I have to have an acne-treatment, although I was told to stop that. Somebody help me...) Maybe it's OK use something in the beginning to speed up the process. Hehe.. |

Hi Ramsi --
Yonka Juvenil is not drying -- in fact it's really helped with my skin. I've been an avid fan and user of Proactiv for nearly 10 years now -- and Juvenil is the ONLY thing that's outdone Proactiv (believe it or not).
Go ahead and read my answer to your questions on the Product Review site -- I was a bit more thorough over there! |

Now I finally caved in and bought th Juvenil!!!! Really hope it helps!
And I can't wait to get my fingers on the package, which most likely will take about 10 days.
So I think I'll have to go out and buy something for me today, just to calm down my cravings.
Anything else you guys have good experience with? I'm open to any brand |

From memory, Leiladao reviewed the MD Formulations Vit-A-Plus Skin Clearing Complex and she loved it. I think she was rather impressed with the results it had on her whiteheads. I'm not sure if she is still using it. You might want to ask her for her current opinion of it. I haven't tried it myself but it's still on my 'wish list' based on her review.
The DDF 10% Glycolic / 2% Salicylic Acid Gel has worked like a charm for me as a spot treatment. I only used it from a sample but I think so far it has been the most effective thing for pimples that I have tried. 10% Glycolic Acid can be too much for some skins though so I'm not going to say that this will do wonders for you especially since you said that you have been told to stop using acne treatments.
Another thing that comes to mind is that maybe your makeup is causing the problems? I know that mineral makeup is recommened to people with acne prone or sensitive skin. So perhaps getting a sample of that and seeing how it goes would be a good idea?
