Hi - I'm a newbie here. I've just registered, but I've been lurking for quite awhile and have gained a lot of very useful information.
I would appreciate some help regarding the use of copper peptide products in a regime with Vit. C products. I've read that you can use both, but that you have to wait some amount of time between use of each product. (I'm currently using AlphaDerma CE and JB's Vit. C serum, but I'd like to add copper peptides to the regime.)
How long should I wait between applying copper peptides and applying Vit. C serum? Should I wash my face to remove the copper peptides before applying the Vit. C? (Would that be necessary, as I would hope the copper peptides would have been absorbed into the skin by then?)
Also, is it better to use the copper peptides first or the Vit. C first - or does it matter?
I would appreciate any insight I could get on this topic. I feel that I'm way behind on incorporating anti-aging products into my skin care regime and I'm trying to catch up!
Thanks - Karen |

Karen - from what I understand you want there to be a significant gap between the application of these two types of products. It's not a matter of waiting 10 or 20 minutes - it appears that you can use one in the morning and the other at night though, but not together. HTH |

Hi Karen welcome!
One of the many valuable things I learned here is *never* to use Vit C and copper peptides together. I use Vit C in the morning because it supports the sun protection action of my sunscreen. I save the copper for nights. HTH |

Mabsy and crazyskin - Thank you for the responses. I thought I might be able to use the copper peptides when I get home from work at about 6 PM, then use the Vit. C later that night, around 11 PM or so, when I get ready to go to sleep. I guess that's not advisable!
Thanks, again - Karen |
