Hi ..I am currently using Cellcosmet purifying gel, activating gel, toner and ultra vital. in the morning I put Jurelique spf 30 over top (using it up)...I have used this combination for almost 2 months and quite like it. maybe not moisturizing enough. I just ordered Remergent DNA repair formula and barrier repair formula for the evening. It is going to come with the Remergent cleanser as a gift so I'll see what that is like on my skin (combination, dry on eye and check area) I'd like to try a good exfoliating cream. helpful to hear what others are using. thanks. Harriet. |

Oily, acne prone 35 year old skin.
Morning:
Clarisonic with ALpha Hydrox cleanser
La Roche Posay Redermic eye
La Roche Posay REdermic
(although now that I am using the smashbox tinted moisturizer, I have found I don't need a daytime moisturizer.)
Evening:
Cleansing Oil (currently L'occitane apple/almond)
Avene Ystheal cream
I also treat weekly with the Neostrata peel, and on no-makeup days I like to indulge in a good, moisturizing cream with a light scent - currently loving Nuxe facial creams. |

Nijey! Gosh Pachel Perry...that takes me back a few years, I'll tell you. The tangerine cream came in a gorgeous coloured box. I haven't seen her products for ever. I didn't think they were still around. The aromas were just amazing. |

This is a really fun post. I can't believe its been hanging out for so long. But it is fun to see how people mix and match. I always thought I used a lot, but now I feel much better and actually think I am on the lighter side of product usage and what I currently use is pretty basic.
AM:
Paula's Choice Skin Balancing cleanser (combo/oily)
Paula's choice skin balancing toner (combo/oily)
PC blemish solution (2.5%bp on break out areas)
Paula's choice mattifying lotion with spf 15

Mineral make-up
Color cosmetics
PM:
Mary Kay Oil Free eye makeup remover
PC Skin Balancing Cleanser
PC Skin Balancing Toner
PC 2% BHA lotion OR Aqua Glycolic facial cream with 10% AHA on alternating nights
PC blemish solution areas that break out
Decleor essential balm (I love love love this and have been using it since I was 20. One of the few products I've repeatedly purchased.)
I just ordered the Decleor ylang ylang oil and the Decleor Prolange (?) gel and am excited to give them a shot. I only introduce new products in one or two at a time, so I can see how they work. I am nervous to change things, but am always excited to find my next new favorite thing. |

I'm super happy with my current skincare routine, I'm seeing great results from the KH and the Clarisonic. I've recently used up some products and have switched to something else in the last few days. These are marked with a ** (i.e. I don't know yet how good they are or what results they will give as yet).
AM
Clarisonic w/Juvena gel cleanser
Dermalogica Active Toner
** Shuyis Eye Multi-Active Essence
** Valmont Eye and Mouth Cream (around the eyes)
Karin Herzog Vitamin H Cream
Karin Herzog Vita-A-Kombi 2 cream
PM
Karin Herzog Professional Cleanser
Dermalogica Active Toner
** Shuyis Eye Multi-Active Essence
** Valmont Eye and Mouth Cream (around the eyes)
Karin Herzog Vita-A-Kombi 2 cream
Karin Herzog Vitamin H Cream
** Bare Minerals Rare Minerals (night MMU treatment)
Every second day I get rid of the two KH creams in the PM and use CSRx vitamin C serum with (a while after) either Decleor Essential Balm or Rosa y Fruta balm over the top. Perfect for my skin! |

I notice that most people use their Vitamin C products in the am. I have been doing that too, but have been told that it should be used in the evening as the potency of the vit c is deactivated by the sun.
Any comments? I am thinking of using the vit c alternatively with the retinol in the evenings.
My current routine is
AM
cleanse with L'Occitane cleansing water
MD Skincare Vit C
MD Skincare antioxidant
Cellcosmet eye cream (sample)
Skin Medica SS
PM
EL moisture rich foaming cleanser
Skin Medica retinol complex
Cellcosmet eye cream (sample)
Paula's Choice Hydrating Cream
2 x week Dermalogica microfoliant
Occasionally Dermalogica gentle cream exfoliant |

Okay, I know I just posted a few days ago, but I just totally re-vamped my routine. I had been using my above routine for over a year.
I ordered the iQ Derma Clear Remedy set online... so I haven't been using them too long so the results are yet to be really seen.
AM:
iQ Purifying cleanser
iQ Acne treatment lotion
PC blemish solution occassionally (2.5% BP)
iQ Hydrating lotion
MMU if going somewhere I want to look nice
PM:
iQ Purifying cleanser
Decleor ylang yland oil
Decleor essential balm
so a little less than before...
So far I am thrilled
Also, juicing, consistently take daily vitamins, and I just decided to go off Yasmin, which i've been using for a year (I have been on birth control for almost 10 years!). I just read some scary stuff on long term bc usage and want to find my own hormonal balance. I am nervous about what my skin will do, but if I am constantly on something to help, how will I ever come off it? I want start a family in the next couple years, and certainly don't want the added stress of trying to get pregant and having bad skin. Wish me luck... i'll keep you posted. |

Hi Russian Sunshine. Do you mean Easy Eye Solutions? If so, why do you use twice a day? I thought once was sufficient. |

I do not have a set morning routine. It all depends if I plan to go out that day or not. Some days:
L'Occitane Immortelle Brightening Cleansing Foam
L'Occitane Immortelle Eye Balm
L'Occitane Immortelle Brightening Toner
L'Occitane Immortelle Very Precious Brightening Concentrate
L'Occitane Immortelle Precious Protection SPF20
2-3Xs per week I will use the Anti-Acne LightStim before using the Brightening Concentrate.
I don't usually wear make-up unless I am going some place special.
Evening Routine:
L'Occitane Immortelle Brightening Cleansing Foam
followed by:
L'Occitane Almond Apple Sweet Peel (2Xs per week)
Philosophy Microdelivery Peel (2Xs per week)
L'Occitane Very Precious Eye Serum or Olay Regenerist Eye Lifting Serum (trying to use this up)
AALS treatment
L'Occitane Immortelle Elixir - New Formula
L'Occitane Immortelle Very Precious Cream
Will be trying some of Kassys DYI formulas in the very near future. |

Hi everyone, im new here and I don't really have much of a skincare routine!
AM:
MD Skincare foaming cleanser
Chamomile tea as toner(when I remember)
Clinique DDMG
Clinique Superdefense
PM:
MD Skincare foaming cleanser
Chamomile tea as toner(when I remember)
Clinique DDMG
Clinique Superrescue antioxidant
I use Premier dead sea exfoliator twice a week.
I was wondering if anyone would like to help me make a better skincare routine as this one isn't really working for me and i'm pretty rubbish at it. I am 18 and I have sensitive, acne prone skin. It is sometimes oily in the t-zone and dry on the sides of my face. I also have lots of acne scars on my chin, large pores around my nose/under my eyes and an uneven skin tone.
I have my list of things I am intending on buying and making when I have money:
BBS acne soap + acne gel
DHCC
ACV toner(with ylang ylang and lemon)
Aspirin mask
Clinique 7 day exfoliator thing (im really bad with the longer product names)
EpidermX (for my acne scars)
Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

Don't want to mention my real age. My skin still maintains its best look in 18 or 19. I find most drugstore products very irritating. I will breakout even after applying Nia24's sunscreen which is said to be perfect for sensitive skin. I have to stick to a simple routine, otherwise I will have acne or rosacea.
AM.
Shower (no cleanser/shower gel/shampoo, just water)
Nia24 Complex on weekdays, DIY serum (mostly green tea n pomegranate extracts in aloe) on weekends
Actifirm Sun Stop SPF45 or MAC primer SPF50 if I wear makeup.
PM.
Grape seed oil as sunscreen remover
Nia24 Complex on weekdays, DIY serum on weekends
Weekly:
Brush my T zone with Clarisonic on Sun
Clean my T Zone with Paula's Choice 2% BHA on Wed
LED treatment (Evis Ageless Beauty)
Facial massage
Twice a year:
Microdermabrasion treatment (T zone only) or Laser genesis |
