I was thinking about buying some skincare products from Decleor and wonder if anyone has any feedback on this brand? I have oily skin, prone to spots and blackheads and wonder if anyone has any reccommendations?
Thanks. |

Hi Rachael,
I've currently got three Decleor products that I am using as part of my skin care routine. The first is the Essential Balm. It's suitable for all skin types and it's supposed to purify the skin. I love using it because it makes my skin look great in the morning and it seems to help out with keeping blackheads in check. It may seem like a scary product to put on skin (particularily oily skin) because it's effectively made out of essential oils but it REALLY does work. Have a look at the reviews forum and do a search, I'm pretty sure it's been reviewed there quite a few times. The Decleor Oils are beautiful as well. I'm using the Angelique one on and off to give my skin a bit of a moisture boost; I think the Ylang Ylang one is for oily skins (and I think that also got a review recently). Also, I highly recommend the Decleor Cleansing Oil. Soothing gentle cleanser (in oil form) that just melts off my eye makeup at the end of the day. I have two favourite cleansers and this is one of them

ps. You might also like to consider YonKa which is also an all-natural brand. I'm sure Lisa would be able to tell you about many of their products if you asked (she's our very own resident YonKa girl ). YonKa apparently has a pretty good product for pimples and spots. |

I used to only use the Decleor line but have branched out into using a cocktail of different products (the essential feature of a product junkie) :P Anyway currently I am just using Harmony Essentielle which is really for sensitive/reactive skin but it's very soothing for my sensitive combination skin and minimizes redness from blemishes. Another plus is it has a UB filter. You might like the Decleor Hydra-Matt Regulating Fluid which is for your skintype. I personally found it not moisturizing enough, but my skin is only oily on my nose and forehead. I also like the phytopeel and remember liking the herb and clay mask. |

Well, I use lots of Delecor products. However, since I have a different skin type as yours, the products I use may not be the suitable ones for you. Therefore, I will recommend some products that can be used on all skin types. First, Phytopeel . It works very effectively to remove the dead skin and make other products more easily to be absorbed into your skin. Delecor also has a very good lip balm. It has a nice smell and rich in texture. I like it because I live in Canada with very drying and cold wealth. The cleasing gel is good too. I guess it is suirtable for oily skin. If you are looking for a body lotion, the body milk is my favorate. |
