Hi guys, I've been checking out the henry tianus antixodant youthful serm. The infredients look great but it also has marine algae in it. It is 20% l-ascorbic acid, but I have have heard conflicting rumors that algae can be comegenic. I already have oily skin with some blotchiness. Anyone have any reviews on this product or ingredient???? |

Hi Pooh
I think there was a poster by the name of Sarah Jones who has used the Henry Tianus range of skincare products, and from reading her posts she highly recommends it for her oilier skin type.
I really wanted to try this as well, because it's the only other natural vit c serum out there apart from Skinceuticals.
From looking at the pics on their website, the serum looks already a yellow colour - I wonder if it is oxidised??
If you get it, tell us how it goes! |

Hi,
I have been using Henry Tianus range for a while! I do like it a lot! They told me the colour of antioxidant youthful essence (20% vit c) and purifying serum (10% vit c) are brownish due to organic herbal tincture. My only advice if you use any of these product is use it sparingly as I found it can be a bit sticky if I put too much on my face. Personally I prefer the Antioxidant Youthful Essence with 20% stabilised vit C than purifying serum with 10% stabilised vit C, although initially I used the purifying serum. I just got an email few days a go on their Autumn Bonus Time. |

hey miranets, thnx for the feed back. I noticed you are into natural products as well. Can you tell me if you know of any organic oil-free sunscreen which does not make your skin feel greasy or make you break out. I have been looking forever but it seems as if they are impossible to find, unless you want to walk around with a white cast on your face. Thanks... |

I've given up on organic sunscreens. Most organic ones do use oil in them, I havent found one that doesnt. But I don't get any breakouts with the ones that I have tried.
I have tried:
Living Nature SPF 15 - wild pansy sunscreen (it's horribly white and thick, even on the fairest skin)
Samples of Dr H spf 15 - but feel even more greasy
Now I just use one by Absolutely Natural Spf 30, water resistant - on most of my body and neck/ears. The texture is still thick but doesn't leave that white cast. I just wear a hat for my face.
THe ingredients for the Ab Natural one are: water, zinc oxide, wheatgerm, lavender oil, citric acid, seaweed and buckwheat extract, glyceri, xanthan gum. I don't know if the SPF is as high as it is claimed, since it is only zinc oxide doing the shielding. |

ehm .... seems this range get more exposure recently, I saw the review in You are what you eat magazine, so I decided to give it a try! I went to their site for obvious choice Antioxidant Youthful Essence, but a bit surprise as it is marked as New Advance Formula Plus Vitamin E, is this the one that make it to the ten best ten or is this the improved product? I ordered one anyway, anybody uses this new advance formula's one? |

Yes, it's very interesting indeed that we're getting this apparent wave of posts about Henry Tianus products, and that these very similar posts about the same topics even (like the article above) are also appearing on other forums....
Allow me to give you an example. The above post by Linda Carter:

Ops .... just saw my name was mentioned. I think it is time for me to tell something about me then. Hi Mabsy, thanks to point out this! Myself, I am a Software Application Consultant for computer manufacturing company, who's crazy about beauty products. I spent a lot of money since I have been paid for my monthly prize . Since I have been carrying this little girl in my tummy, I decided to use more natural or organic products for most of the stuffs I use including foods as I want the best for my little angel. That's how I ended up using the products. I don't understand why someone would like to copy and paste my post or perhaps it is just coincidental? (The person will know it exactly right?!?). Anyway, today is my last day I spend my time at my company's cafetaria where I normally log in while I am enjoying my tea. I am starting my one year maternity leave next week and I don't think I will have time to log in once this little angel is with me. Thanks for all members that have been enjoying my posts and sorry for others that don't like what I said.
Bye for now,
Sarah |
