Hi Bez - I haven't tried it myself but I do recall some people mentioning this. If you don't get many other responses then you should also try searching for "idealist" to have a read of the previous posts |

I used few bottles for a while one year ago. It gives a silky touch on your skin, so it is nice and found it good as a make up base. Apart from this, I don't see any long term benefit on my skin so I stop using it. Why not ask for sample to try out? EL is quite generous with samples. |

I had a couple of samples of this and didn't really like it. It made my skin feel soft but also like a weird artificial skin (bizaarely, how I imagine those upmarket sex dolls feel, but I have no personal knowledge of this!). I think it must be the silicone. I didn't notice any other benefits from it.

Thanks for the feedback...I think I will try some samples, since it got pretty good reviews on another site...sex dolls,eh?hmmmmmmm
I did run a search for "idealist" before I posted my question, but didn't find anything. Of course, after spending hours reading all the threads on related topics, I did find about a gazillion other things I want to try!
I think I may need a second job (and a few more faces) so I can try everything.
Thanks again for the feedback...this is a great site and everyone has such wonderful advice (not to mention terrific sense of humor)
Maybe I can just stand on the corner with a sign that says, "Will work for skincare products". |

Bez,
I tried the Idealist and I didn't like it. It had a very strong scent to it and too strong of a smell makes me think the product is not "natural" enough. It went on smoothly but was a bit sticky. From what I've read, I believe there is silicone in the Idealist which makes it go on so smoothly. Other than that, I didnt see any results so won't be repurchasing it. |
