| I was just told that broken capillaries are caused by sun, steam, or hot or cold water. In OCM, you have to use pretty warm, even hot water to get the oil off (and then I splash my face with cold water right after). Will this cause broken capillaries in the future? |

Hi Ena  I have a tendency for broken caps so when I splash water on my face I try to avoid too hot or too cold, as close to room temperature is best. I use a cleansing oil but I find I don't need hot water for it to rinse clean. I apply Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil to my dry face, massage, then add lukewarm to warm water which then emulsifies the oil (it turns milky white) and massage some more. Then I rinse off with more water. At this point I don't feel any residue on my face but I do follow up with my regular cleanser as insurance against breakouts. HTH |

| I find that body-temp water is fine for rinsing off oilier cleansers. Just don't go too hard with the massaging, that tends to cause my redness. |
