ok so i have had dark circles for a few years but i just recently realized what causes most of the darkness... i have had a history of eye allergies and a lot of rubbing.. and i read that rubbing can cause tiny capillaries to break and actual damaged the blood vessels.. and in the inner corner of my eye where its really dark if i look closely i can see that the veins in that area are a darker color and theres actually small leaking amounts of string like blood in both corners of my eyes.. i read that vitamin k will heal the leaking blood vessels. do you think it will work for me?

anyone know? i read that a lot of people had success with getting rid of their darkness but the veins still remained..well like 80% of my darkness comes from the inner corner of my eyes and its because the veins r leaking blood or something.

Not sure to be honest. I had very good results with Peter Thomas Roth Power K Eye Rescue (which, obviously, has vit K in it) but mine was a "general" darkness. I do have one large vein on the side of my eye but would not expect any cream to budge that....

Do the dark circles get better when you take anti-allergy meds at all?

well i also have the darkness.. i do have veins under my eyes but they dont really cause a lot of darkness.. its just on the inner corner of my eye its really dark cause i rubbed my eyes too much when i had allergies.. which caused the little tiny capillaries to break.. i can see little string like blood in the corner of both my eyes if i look closely and that causes the darkness.. and theres actually some blood that looks to be leaking out of the vein in my left eye.. cuz theirs a strand of blood connected directly to the vein.. like i said before i damaged the blood vessels and i thought vitamin k was supposed to heal them.

mine look kinda red in the light but in a room with not much light they just appear very dark and it is dark under my eyes.. but its just more of the inner part of my eye thats dark on both sides.. the inner corner of my under eye area has little broken capillaries which cause redness and darkness but the outerness of my under eyes isnt damaged.

Supercelebs, I have dark undereye circles too which have lightened a lot from the use of a Vit K serum. I hesitate to recommend a product to you because I don't have a vein problem like yours. I suggest you see a doctor before starting any product just to be on the safe side.

ffmaster, it took about a year for me to see good results from Vit K so I'm not surprised you have not seen improvement yet. If I remember correctly you have allergy problems, right? If so IMHO your first route is address that problem first. After that there are other options, products that thicken the skin for example. Sorry I can't point to a specific product but glycosaminoglycans are said to promote skin thickening.

i dont have a vein problem.. veins under your eyes are completely natural in a lot of people.. and im pretty sure im at no risk whatsoever by damaging the veins.. im pretty sure im not the only one that has little broken capillaries under my eyes from rubbing.. and supposively vitamin k seals off the leaking blood vessels.

i have actually been using a vitamin k cream for about 1.5 weeks now.. the one by jason natural.. it has vitamin k, horse chestnut, ester c, bioflavanoids, yarrow, chamomile, etc.. i did a lot of researching and it looked to be the best one.. to be honest it looks like the area has gotten less red in the light but i could be wrong.. anyways its way too early to expect anything.
