Hi all

I just thought I would write to tell everyone how much I am enjoying my MD Formulations skincare. I recently purchased a set of the Cleanser (small size), Facial Cream (sensitive skin) and the SPF 30 Cream. I bought this pack in Australia and it wasn't cheap $145 but I just love what it is doing to my skin.

I have taken the advice not to use the cleanser morning and night so I alternate this with another cleanser. Before I started using this my ckeeks were all bumpy and I had huge breakouts on my chin, jawline and forehead. It has not even been one week they are all starting to clear up and my face feels like its in the best condition it has ever been in.

Yesterday I discovered how cheap the products were on EDS and purchased some more cleanser and facial cream for less than the price of the cleanser in Australia ($89). How great is that.

Anyway, thanks EDS for providing professional skincare at affordable prices.

Hi Nelly,

I'm glad to hear that you found something that worked well for you. I had the same results with MDF - I bought one of their trial kits and that got rid of the under-the-skin bumps quickly. The only thing that I don't like from the line is the Face Protector but I'm still using the MDF Clearing Complex when I need it and the MDF Clearing COmplex mask. I have moved on from the MDF cleanser to the PCA skin cleanser, which gave me the same results but I felt it was less drying.

ps. Luckily I discovered EDS, I don't think I would have tried MDF if I had to buy it in Australia (some items are more than double the price!).

I am a big fan of glycolic acids. I use md forte, which is similar, but a bit stronger. It has mad all the difference in the world.

Glad you liked these products!

I had great results once I started using MD Formulations. I use their regular non-glycolic cleanser, and although it doesn't have the exfoliating action of their glycolic cleansers, it still does a wonderful job of keeping my skin clear and smooth!

At some point I think I will try additional products from this line.

Hello ladies! Smile I'm looking to incorporate glycolics into my routine to help my skin cope with the oilier/heavier European sunscreens. I've never had any luck with AHAs in the past, they broke me out and left red blotches all over my face. I thought I'd start slow by trying the MDF cleansers (less time on the skin = less irritation), I have samples of the regular and sensitive formulations. The sensitive type cleanser stung a little, nothing alarming though. The regular cleanser, which I believe is at a lower pH and therefore more effective, stung a lot and by the next morning I had 3 new painful bumps.

Did anyone go through a purging period when first starting glycolics? If so, how long did the purging last? I always have this problem with AHAs and I've chickened out everytime, I'm wondering now if I should pursue this. I'm determined to use the higher PPD sunscreens and willing to build my routine around them. I'd appreciate any advice you can give me, TIA Smile
