Thanks to all of your wonderful advice and great ideas, I am able to actually reduce $$$ spent on skincare products! Cool

These homemade stuff have worked SO well for me (OCM, DHCC, ACV toner - making the Vit C serum as soon as I can find the ingredients) I'm actually saving up cash, which I can use on building up my eye-shadow and makeup brush collections instead!

Just thought I'd share... Razz

I love my home made Dr H cleanser and the ACV toner my skin looks better than it has done for years. I have also started using Jojoba oil as moisturiser which is just wonderful and a bottle of this is going to last me a good year Wink

I too know exactly how you feel ... and there's a real added benefit in making your own cleansers, toners etc. You know exactly what's in them.

My skin is so problematic ... and so fussy that often in the past, when some product caused a problem with breakout or sensitivity, I didn't know exactly what ingredients were causing the problem ... which was very frustrating and expensive. Laughing

I've discovered that my skin seems to respond better to simpler preparations ... and the homemade cleansers/toners are definitely that! Laughing

What's even better about EDS is that not only have these wonderful homemade recipes been made available ... but instructions on exactly how you use them is also provided ... and particularly in the case of OCM and Dr. H's CC, the "how" of using them is, perhaps more important than the recipes themselves!

I know that my skin has never looked better ... Very Happy

) but this forum has helped me save money too - like rosebud, I use jojoba oil as a moisturiser which lasts forever and is pretty inexpensive. I've also learnt what ingredients are good and bad for my skin, so I've managed to find some all natural product lines, that are cheap and work so well with my skin (Alba Botanical and Beauty Without Cruelty). MUA helped with that too - I must have read and compared a thousand reviews just to buy a $9 cleanser! Laughing
