I am really liking it!! I notice that they do rub off pretty easily though... anyone else see that happening? But at least it doesn't all gather up in the crease... I give it about a B+

I do find that BE shadows fade quite quickly. Personally, my favorite mineral eyeshadows are the ones by corycosmetics.com. She has tons of colors to pick from, they have enough pigment to actually show up, and they have great staying power. I also love Pure Luxe shadows.
I have found that I could never stay with one line of minerals. As for BE....the only thing I have really loved from this line is their Mineral Veil.

Thankyou for this review, I had exactly the same result with violet sky and thought it was just me, I was considering purchasing more but I think I will save my pennies.
The eye liner shadow in soft black is good though. Has anyone treid the one in green tea I have been wanting to try this one. |

I second your opinion about Cory´s eyeshadows; I LOVE them, too!!!!
I'm also addicted to her blushes; there are so many stunning colors!!!! They are highly pigmented as well, so a little goes a looooong way.
Funny; I just sat down and counted all of my Cory samples; 74 little baggies...... 
It's gonna take me awhile to use them up, I guess

Thanks for the replies... I am wondering if you used them wet it would stay on better... Now, I only tried it a couple times but like I said it came off a little quick for me.

I have problems getting *any* shadow to last on my eyelids for more than 30 minutes because I have really oily lids. Because of this, I never even bothered trying to apply eye shadow because it would slide right off before 9am! And then I discovered Urban Decay’s “Primer Potion” and now I can wear any eye shadow, including BE and other mineral brands and the color/s not only stay “true” but it lasts up to 12 hours, or until I remove my makeup at night.
I’ve tried other eye shadow ‘primer’ products in the past and thought they were all completely useless and a total waste of money, but the UDPP made a believer out of me! I recommend it to anyone who’s had problems with *any* brand or type of eye shadowing fading, creasing or melting away because this sh*t really does work!! |

I keep meaning to try the UD Primer Potion. I will have to order it from Sephora I think as Urban Decay does not seem to be readily available in my area anymore.
I am the same way - ANY kind of shadow melts/fades from my eyelids after awhile. I have noticed that I simply cannot go back to using drugstore shadows after trying BE. The pigments in BE are quite strong, and the texture is very silky. I find it impossible to cope with drugstore stuff anymore. The one exception is Prestige eyeshadows. They really show up nicely and seem to last for quite awhile on my oil-slick lids. |
