I really like StriVectin SD.. I have used it on my wrinkles and they seem to be lightening up a bit... I do use the microdermabrasion with it however.. I love the minty smell also... I am starting to use it on my neck also cuz the lines in my neck seem to be very deep. They do make the cream for just your eyes and I might try that one also.

I'm glad it is working for you. I used it for 5 months and it did NOTHING for my forehead lines or my 11s. However, then I found ADCE and that worked wonders!!!!!
But I did like the minty smell also. Really woke me up in the mornings.
Let us know how the eye cream works if you decide to try it.

Lori... can you tell me what ADCE is? I am curious because if in the long run I don't see a big difference then I might need to switch over.
Like I said too... not sure if it is because I use it in conjunction with the microdermabrasion as well. |

ALPHADERMA CE by Janson-Beckett. It is awesome stuff. I have been using it since April. I noticed my lines softening within a week. Right now, my 11s are pretty much gone. My forehead lines are improved as well.
It is really good stuff....and you can get it in a sample pack to see if it works for you.

I tried StriVectin SD for a very short period. My friend didn't like it so she gave it to me. I gave up my AlphaDermaCE and Mineral Prep for one week (hope JB doesn't read this   ). Figured I should be opened minded and see if StriVectin works better. In my case, hands down, AlphaDermaCE did much more for my skin. |

Wow... thanks for the heads up on the AlphaDermaCE... One other question... is it as expensive as the StriVectin SD?
About what is the cost?

| If you pay 129.00 for AlphaDermaCE it should last you four month (about how long it lasts me). Four oz. = approx. 32.00 per month (entire face and neck 2 X's a day). EDS has a special going on and JB also has specials. Just have to figure out what site has the better prices. EDS is giving a free C&C with JB products. |

I haven't used it on stretch marks yet. I just got a sample from Sephora and am trying over the week for reactions. I have mild to average rosacea so I've been careful and only using it at night
After 3 nights:
It seems to plump my skin where I had seen the deepest lines (laugh lines & forhead) but haven't noticed anything different with the fine lines yet.
The overall redness of my skin has decreased, and it seems to be returning to to it's whiter/pinkier tones (for some reason my skin had been turning yellower and darker over the last 5 years which I had assumed was sun damage). I'm hoping this is just some good healthy cellular renewal I'm seeing.
I have new rosacea blotch this morning - just one and it's small. All my old ones had faded. It may be just a reaction while getting used to a new topical.
It made my skin dry and flaky in the mornings. This may be the older skin cells sloughing off? Someone else my know.
It gave me my first real acne pimple in years after the first night. No new pimples so far.
So I'm curious if I'm just normal cellular renewal after having dehyrated skin for so long or if it's really working. Time will tell. |

I've tried both ADCE and Strivectin SD -- both are great products but very different in texture and scent -- ADCE is essentially odourless -- and behaves more like a serum on the skin - Strivectin is very much a cream (and a scented one at that - very minty, takes getting used to)...IMHO, ADCE is would be great for an age-concerned skin with a history of some oiliness....Ifound that I definitely needed another cream with it.. (but it does kick the lines and increase firmess)..Strivectin, IMHO is a stand alone...and while it has inspired alot of controversy - for me it works wonders - especially around the eyes- and was WELL worth the money .

I can only agree with you. In the eye area Strivectin has made the most difference.

Well a few more days and my skin hasn't broken out again and I haven't had any new roscea blotches- yeah!
My skin is still a little brighter then before and the texture is better. The deeper lines are filling in slowly but no changes to the fine lines strangely enough.
I'd recommend it for us sensitive skin folks but I'm not sure It's worth $135 us a tube. |

| Can anyone tell me what color StriVectin is supposed to be. I have a tube that is about 6 months old. I opened it today and it is a brownish beige color. Is that the normal color or has it gone bad? I only used it a few times after purchasing so I can't remember. As for results...I think I was expecting an instant miracle so I stopped using it too soon to tell. |
