This is such a great lotion! It's made from mostly natural ingredients, smells like honey and apricots and sinks in right away. This leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth like the proverbial baby's bottom. I just love it and I can't get enough of it! |

Nice! Do you happen to know if the ingredients are all natural? |

Thanks ksee for posting the ingredients! The bottle says it is 98.31% natural. The actual name of the lotion is Burt's Bees Baby Bee Buttermilk Lotion. It is in a white bottle with a yellow label with a beehive on the front. It is so yummy!!! It costs around $9.00US for 7 ounces/207ml. I know, not much but soooo worth it. I also love the Baby Bee Buttermilk Bath Soak. It's made with nonfat dry milk, whole dry buttermilk and the same fragrance as the lotion. I don't have a little one yet, but I can't wait to use this stuff on them and myself! |

I brought a tone of this back with me from the States, it's a HG in our bathroom now, SO loves it and has claimed the lotion as his own. |

Yes, great stuff, before I switched to Weleda and Seachi body oils, I *loved* the apricot one after a nice weekend shower.
I don't use the lotion anymore, but, the soap is still a staple in my shower along with Weleda's magnificant Iris. |

I totally agree with all the other raves. This lotion smells soooo yummy (SUCH a treat to use!) and it's moisturizing without being greasy. I love the natural ingredients and I love the price--- it's around $7 at my grocery store, which is cheaper than a lot of drugstore lotions that aren't nearly as nice.
In case anyone is wondering, the ingredients are:
Filtered Water, Sunflower Oil, Vegetable Glycerin, Coconut Oil, Stearic Acid (vegetable fat), Beeswax, Orange Wax, Tocopheryl Acetate & Tocopherol (vitamin E), Aloe Barbadensis, Buttermilk Powder, Sodium Borate (natural borax), Xanthan Gum (natural thickener), Sucrose Stearate (sugar emulsifier), Glucose & Glucose Oxidase & Lactoperoxidase (sugar & natural enzymes), Rosemary Extract, Fragrance |

I just used this and wanted to add my two cents
Wow. They weren't kidding about the fragrance. It's really quite overpowering when you first apply the lotion and for about an hour after that. However, it does fade, so don't get put off by the fragrance when you test or first smooth it on. Simply put, this stuff makes you smell exactly like a baby. It's a VERY intense, sweet, powdery scent. I must say I'm not completely in love with the scent, perhaps it takes some getting used to, but the thing I like is that the scent probably is very long lasting given it's intensity - long lasting fragrance in body lotions/shower gels are very rare, but is something I always look for because apart from perfume, I like my skin smelling nice all day. Ok the thing I DO love about this lotion is how fast it sinks in with absolutely no greasy feeling. I bought this because my beloved HG : Aveeno Creamy Moisturizing Oil that I use in the day, was running out - I'm in love with the Aveeno and it will be a staple of mine, but I'm always a sucker to try new products. I figured nothing could beat the Aveeno for the non-greasy feeling that it has but this has totally matched it - I definitely can use this in the day and not feel sticky. It's a very runny, thin lotion. I used to think Burt's Bees was all about packaging and cute names, but looks like I'm gonna be a convert now. |

I love the smell of this stuff too! I have used Johnson's baby lotion (cheap pink one) for years bc I love the powder smell but once I smelled Burts I was hooked. Each time I have been in need of body lotion my Whole foods has been out of it...so I go back to my old stand by. |

I tested this lotion in a store a few days ago. It went on and felt lovely. It smelled strong at the beginning, but I grew to like it! Unfortunately, about 20 minutes after I put it on the one hand, I started getting itchy. Skin did not turn red or get bumps, but was just itchy. I can't tell what in the ingredient list would cause this as they all seem OK. I guess I'll have to keep looking for the HG body lotion... |
