Hi Pooh,
I looked at their website ... and you're quite right ... they don't list their ingredients.
Whenever I encounter a product that doesn't list ingredients, I get suspicious. After all ... there's no guarantee that the "testimonials" are actual comments from real people who weren't solicited for their opinion. For all you know, the marketing department simply wrote a bunch of hype and posted it as "testimonial" blurbs. Or ... they could be taken out of context.
When I was in publicity in the Canadian book industry, we had a book that a reviewer didn't like. The reviewer had said something like "This book isn't one that will keep you on the edge of your chair ..." [or something to that effect]. What did I do? I used only part of the quote ... and had it say "... will keep you on the edge of your chair" and included the reviewer's name and newspaper. The quote was valid ... just completely out of context.
So ... you really can't trust testimonials ... or at least I don't trust them.
I would email the company and ask for a list of ingredients [in order of concentration] for each product. If they won't provide that ... then you can almost be sure that they have something to hide. It could be that the ingredients aren't entirely "organic" ... but that there are enough natural things to qualify for that label legally.
In any event ... without the ingredient list, you can't judge whether their products are suited to your skin.
I've tried all sorts of products that promised to "not clog pores" and to "clear up acne". The fact that I'm no longer using these products testifies to those promises being baseless.
Just my opinion, of course ...

Thanks for the reply Mary. The people from the l'jon website just emailed me with the list of ingredients in both the sunscreen and the skin renew. If anyone is interested they are as follows:
The ingredients in the Skin Renew are as follows:
pure artesian water
aloe vera gel
sodium lactate
A.H.A. (lactate)
allantoine
NaPCA
chamomile
natural botanicals
extract of citrus
The ingredients in the Lunasoy Sun are:
artesian mineral water
thickening agent
Lunasin
Aloe Vera gel
extracts of Green Tea
chamomile
citrus (grapefruit)
This is the exact list I was sent, all I did was copy and paste it, I guess it just took them a little while to get back to me. These ingredients seem good for the skin, I'm probably going to try it out, but I will post a reply about the results....Thnx.... |

Hello all,
I have been using L'jon Skin care for over 25 years and I am absolutely in love with the product. I am in my early fifties and my skin feels completely healthy and soft with very little sun damage, and very little wrinkles.
I wake up every morning with that great skin feel even when I am camping, hiking, sailing and skiing. It is also a terrific product for athletes.
Come on you thirty somethings get on it before your skin wrinkles out by outdoor abuse!
I advise using it twice a day to get the fastest results for a lifetime of healthy beautiful skin.
My teenagers have used it for years and they have great skin. The occasional break out is quickly repaired by cutting back on #1 and #4 and using the Skin Renew (a wonderful product that also repairs sun damage and wrinkles).
Worth its weight in gold!
#1 #2# 3 & #4 are so delicious I can't live without this product.
The system is simple and can be taken with you wherever you go. The Lunasoy sunscreen is also a very good product. It feels a little weird at first but the skin responds very well to the ingredients. It also repairs the skin and is organic. These products are natural with none of the harsh chemicals that you find in just about every product out there. But the shelf life is only a year so better to use it up. Make it your daily and nightly habit and you will NEVER ever need Botox!
Celebrate great skin!
The product is satisfaction guaranteed |
