if you cleanse, tone, treatments, moisturise....
then put on sunscreen isn't that too much cream on your face? i.e. two lots of moisturisers?
currently i use an Avene cream which helps with my redness and has a SPF10. i'm thinking that isn't enough.
would it not be overloading the skin if i used my normal (or any other) cream and then sunscreen on top?
can someone recommend a good sunscreen for normal - oily tzone slightly dry other places skin or a moisturiser with a high SPF? |

hello faith...i have that but i didn't think it would be suitable for the face? it isn't too much and it doesn't clog your pores? do you use it on your face? how much [a small amount?] |

It is one of my favourites actually. I use 10 sprays for my face and neck. Perhaps that is a bit much , but after 20-30 minutes I find that I don't look too greasy. It doesn't clog my pores, but I do not have a problem with that usually. |

Hi yusufosman Whether you have too much on your face really depends on your skin type and condition. If you have a congestion issue then too many layers might be too occlusive. I am constantly battling congestion and I find that aside from avoiding too many layers (for example I'm skipping moisturizer in the morning at the moment because my sunscreen is emollient enough) it helps if I wait for one layer to sink in first before applying another. arghhhhh I don't know what happened. I had a horrible breakout over the weekend and today! The only thing that I have changed is to use the O2 Serum and Vit C Serum from PSF. Can Vit C cause a breakout initially? It is like a teenager breakout that I haven't had for years and looks awful. Is it something that happens when you use Vit C for the first time?
I did try the Avene sunscreen today on my face - I didn't use my usual Avene cream the sunscreen is enough! And there is no greasy feeling on my face! Great! And I do love Avene products! |

I have heard that Vit C can do that. Do you have a good spot treatment...even teatree oil on a q-tip should help to clear it faster. I think the O2 will help too, as it is supposed to kill bacteria...just don't pick at it!! I don't need cream either with the Avene SS. I am glad it worked for you!!! |

Well at least it is (kinda) a relief that it is the Vit C and not something else. Should I carry on using the Vit C? I do like the PSF products the O2 is great. I ordered it and then it was available in a spray which would be so much more handy as it is a bit tricky to apply!
The Avene sunscreen is great, thanks for the tip faith!
I got my EDS order today too (and it didn't get stopped at customs! yay!) - got the Valmont Renewing Pack, Bioelelements Quick Refiner and the PTR Vit K Eye cream. YAY. |

Hooray!! Your products sound great!
As for the Vit C, I would give it a try for another day or 2. If you keep breaking out, then stop, but it may have just been an initial reaction. Some people have to start and stop with it a few times before their skin tolerates it. I hope that it sorts itself out though! It is so important! |
