Hi, everyone. I really need some professional advise on my skincare routine.

I am 28 now. Lately I have been using IS Clinical product such as pro-heal, hydra-cool in the morning. Also I have tried the sample of firming complex and active serum and eye cream. At first, the products dried out my skin. However, this problem was caused by the mistake of putting active serum and firming complex at the same time on my face. So far, they work quite well for me. At least I notice acne scar area on my left cheek has become lighter. It has been there longer than 2 years due to a severe breakout. But I am quite disappointed with the eye cream. it didn't help to dimish the fine line under my eyes.

I probably will still use pro-heal and hydra-cool in the morning. However, I am considering buying some night time skincare and eye cream. I notice there are a lot of good comment on alphaderma of JB. My question is what's the difference between alphaderma and active serum? And if I am using alphaderma, is the skin prep a must? Can I combine alphaderma and IS clinical product together to use at night? Is there any good eyecream to recommend? Is the Cellcosmet Eye Contour Cream worth to try although my budget is really tight?

Thank you very much.

hi chenjiey Smile

Do you put the Proheal under your eyes? If not, I would recommend that, and then the eyecream. I had fine lines under my eyes and over about 6 months I was finally able to rid myself of them!! I am actually starting to think that most, not all, eyecreams are all the same. Shock I know it is probably not true, but I tried so many, including Cellcosment and Valmont. They are all pretty much the same for me, and none of them could get rid of those lines. I think there are not enough active ingredients or something. Anyway, now I use regular actives around my eyes, and then just a cheap eyecream for moisture and to prevent future damage. At the moment I am still using the Babor (which is nice), and have another ISC one to use next. Smile

It sounds like you and I are using the same products with the same results. The active and firming was too much for me. I have also been wanting to try the alphaderma at night to help tighten as well. I ordered the 5 day sample and started using them PM with the proheal and hydracool in the AM. I was also wondering about skipping the prep stage. Also, do you think the hydracool really makes a huge difference? Hope somebody might have some ideas on this.

I have used IS Clinical Active ,HydraCool (went though 2 samples of each) and loved it!!! Decided to purchase the full size Firming Complex and liked the way it tightened my pores and refined my skin. I am also a long time AlphaDermaCE/Mineral Prep user. When using ISC I applied in this manner: Mineral Prep, ISC, AlphaDerma.

I read this post earlier and didn't reply immediately as ISC and JB have two different functions for my skin. While ISC exfoliates, refines, tightens pores. Janson Beckett line firms and deminishes fine lines and wrinkles. I do believe Mineral Prep and AlphaDermaCE should be used together (especially if used on the whole face).

If you are just spot treating expression areas I would feel comfortable applying AlphaDerma to just those areas after Active Serum and HydraCool. On my face, I use ADCE as a whole face/neck treatment and feel the Mineral Prep is a must. No longer do I use ISC as I just wanted to stick with what I was using for so long. Perhaps a member using both for a longer period of time will read this thread.
