Do any of you keep products on your bed-side table? I find that if I have a couple of products nearby after I hop in bed for the night, I'm better at using them.
Currently on my night table is:
Tube of Ardell Lash/Brow conditioner and a little mirror
A tube of Lamas Lip enhancer
A pot of Garden Botanika anti-aging lip care
a tube of Glysomed handcream that I got at Wallyworld - very ungreasy, which I like!
Do my night lash routine, lube up the lips, and then handcream and I'm ready for snoozing!
Then of course, the radio that is also on my nightstand blares the music in the morning to awaken me!

Hi,
For years I have kept a few things at my bedside table-religiously!
1-Burts Bees Lipbalm. I am IN LOVE with this! I've been using it for years and I think it's the best.
2-Eye Cream. For the last 3 years my favorite is Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Recovery Complex. I have a tendency to sometimes wake up with bags under my eyes (no matter what I do, it's hereditary), and this helps very much, as well as to moisturize. I also keep another one in my purse for touch ups during the day.
3-Nivea Hand Cream. I live in the Northeast and this helps alot during the winter.
4- Vicks vaporub. I know this one is a weird one, but ever since I was little I cannot fall asleep unless I dab a bit of this under my nose. In the winter it helps my nose from getting too dry from the dry indoor heating. |

Well, so far it seems we're unanimous with lip treatments!!!!!
I may have to investigate the lip balms....
Betterat40 - I tried earplugs as my husband snores ridiculously loud, but I couldn't get used to them - maybe I had them in wrong.

OK, live in Japan = teensy-weensy bedside table
The only things that fit on mine are the light, a small upright box of tissues, the clock and my glasses (the latter two of which have to perch on top of whatever book I am reading).
It does have a nifty little drawer in which I keep:
Pawpaw ointment (for the lips)
Eucalol (?) cream for my heels
Jurlique rose hand cream
a jar of lavender oil ( for wrists and behind ears every night to send me to la la land)
handmade pig bristle hair brush
Everything a girl needs before zzz time!! |

OMG I can't stop laffin...
Confession: I got stuck in a definitely less than prime motel about a month ago when a flight was cancelled while I was out of town on business. I was in one room and my partner got the place next door.
The bed had Magic Fingers, complete with coinbox.... I just couldn't resist! After rifling around on the bottom of my purse for loose quarters, I hopped on the bed and fed them into the coinbox.
SHRIEKINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG..... OMG WHAT A RACKET. I swear the bed was moving... I literally laughed myself to sleep that night. It never occurred to me that the noise from the vibrating bed was loud enough to be heard in the adjacent rooms. The next morning, we were dashing off to get our flight and I asked my partner if he slept okay. He gave me one of those looks and said, "Uhhh I slept fine Katie. I'm NOT going to ask you what the hell YOU were doing though! |

LOL!!! I had to chuckle about everyone's earplugs. I just adopted a dog and he is obsessed about eating my ear plugs. I have woke up early in the morning to find him rummaging around on my nightstand looking for them....if I could only remember to put them away. |

okay, on top of my bedside table -
lamp
clock
radio
pile of books (which are often falling off onto the floor)
dr. hauschka hand creme
lip balm
hair ties i find in my bed during the night (as i've forgotten to take them off)
tv remote (although more often it has fallen onto the floor too)
glass of water (although usually i put that a little further away so i don't knock it off too!)
but i also have things on the floor next to my bedside table because they won't fit on the top -
more books
tissues
AND i have a drawer in my bedside table with other stuff in it -
herbal sleeping pills
vicks
anti-flam (natural anti-inflamatory rub, like voltaren)
spare lip balm
socks
earplugs
so you can see, i really love my bed and don't like to leave it unless i absolutely have to!
