I had botox done a few times in the States, and I'm really missing it now I've relocated back to the UK - I have incredibly strong frown muscles, and I look like I'm glaring all the time, even when I'm pretty happy! Does anyone have any recommendations of reputable places to go to in the UK for this kind of thing - I'm based in the South West (Bristol) right now, but could get to London if necessary. I've got brochures from all of the major plastic surgery places of course (can't get away from the ads now they're showing Extreme Makeover over here), but it's so hard to make a decision without knowing them. I miss my dermatologist in Florida sooo much .
Thanks muchly! |

Hi! I heard on Bristol radio (GWR) this morning on way to work that one of the presenters has just had this done - she used Transform in Bristol City Centre, my sister had also had some work doen there (not Botox),I've also heard good things about the Harley Clinic on the end of Whiteladies Rd.
Let me know how it goes - I'm using Browtox as a preventative at the mo' as I don't have any lines but do frown when I'm concentrating (although this is more difficult since using Browtox) but if/when I develop frown lines as I get older I'll be interested in looking into other routes!! |

Thanks Lucia, that's very helpful! I saw that the Transform clinic has recently moved out of the city centre down to bigger premises in Portishead, so I think that may be the one for me, especially now it's had some recommendations (I'm right next to the M5, so really easy to get there). I'll go scope them out first, and I'll let you know how it goes for sure. If the results are as good as I've had in the past it's just fantastic, a huge difference |

hello Fifi,
Here in Holland the Botox is from 250 -350 euro. but in Belgium it is much cheaper because the wages from the plastic surgions are much lower.I get the same botox as in Holland. I go towww.botoxcenter.com.
Unfortunately their site is in Dutch and francais..But as ou put on "tarievenlijst" I'm sure you can understand the prices. The clinic is in Antwerpen, a very beautifull old city.

Hi Dia
It looks like a great place, I'd go there for sure if I was a bit closer! Maybe a future holiday.... |
