OMIGOD, how cute! Your topic interested me b/c I'm a new mom and can relate with the yucky skin! And...coincidentally I am also a mommy to a 5 year old White/Brown Shih Tzu! I am not sure about you but I crate trained mine. He slept soundly in his crate when he was a puppy as long as I put the crate facing me. |

I know nothing can make up for lack of sleep, but look into taking vitamin and mineral supplements as the baby will have drained your body of vital nuitriants when in the womb.
Worth a try to get that extra energy hit and brighter skin
Oh and Congratulations!!!! |

hi, we have a 4yr old black/white Shihtzu too who is such a baby herself that she is scared to death of the pup! The 8 yr old blind maltese is maternal though. I LOVE the breed, very sweet and playful. I am crate training but she screams! the other night it was ALLLL night, couldn't believe it! But she was weaned too early apparently so I have infant issues. She is on baby food right now. We already had a scare with Hypoglycemia with her! so now I am watchful. Congrats on YOUR new baby!
Hi Caroline! I am taking tons of supplements but haven't gotten enough water in. I have bags under my eyes and no foundation/makeup looks good. |

I too have a Shihtzu, and when she was a puppy I tried training her (crate ect.) but she would keep me up all night crying. So of course I had to give in because it was just breaking my heart. Now she has the run of the show. They are the best dogs to have and the cutest puppies. |

Being a total sucker for a puppy of any kind I had to check the new baby out, toooooooo cute . I have been there and really feel for you. Right now we only have on yorkie but up until last year there were two. We tried the crate thing but got suckered into letting them sleep with us in the end .
My only advice is get lots of puppy kisses to make up for the lack of sleep lol. |

I got lucky last night! I put the carrier on my bed near me and my fingers in her cage and she went right to sleep! So getting sleep my makeup/face looked better today, LOL! |
