Hi!! thank you for your DIY receipes. It took me awhile, but it has been 5 days using the OCM, HM Dr H CC, ACV, and Vit. C and I actually had someone say I have beautiful skin today!!!! 
Never in my life has this happened to me!! Thank you!! Now, I want to try more and get a hold of some ylang ylang oil (the ACV is not a pleasant smell to me, but I do like the results!)
FYI: For the last week I have been trying to figure out which products I'm going to buy from J&B. The forum here has sold me on them and I figure I'll jump in with both feet and get the set. What is holding me up is I'm agonizing over trying the Pumpkin Peel from PSF or the renewed radiance from J&B. I spoke to J&B about buying a sample of the radiance with my order, but they don't do that anymore.  Only the full size. BTW, Lou has been so tolerant (he is a gem). I like him and need to get back with him soon on my order. On the build your own kit, I was thinking of the ADCE, Prep, and Okusil; however, I need to decide on a mask since Winnie mentioned exfoliating is a must with J&B.
I'm so weak. Wow. What a tangent. I'm going to have to change my subject line to include J&B.  I was going to get the C&C serum with the kit, but with the price tag going up I've decided to try Kates and it seems to be working! My only observation is that I seem to get a headache and upset stomach after using the C serum, but it could just be a touch of something. I hope I'm using the right Vit. C. I'll ask on a different thread.
Ok, back to my question to Kate. I ran across the most beautiful combination and I was wondering if you knew how to either make it or incorporate it with your recipes? I was at Bath and Body Works at the mall (looking for essential oils...with is much harder than I thought btw. The folks at GNC keep directing me to the fish and flax seed oils. hurumf!) And the B&BW had a Ylang Rose comboniation that was like heaven. Can the Ylang Ylang oil be combined with Rose absolute and still be effective? What is Rose absolute? I am new to making products and could use some advice. The combination (Y/R) wasn't in their essential oil selection, but under 'massage oil'. It was soooo puuurty though. Here is the exerpt from the website:

I am quite sure Pure Skin Formulations have a sample pack that includes their Pumpkin Peel. I do love it  . If you can sample before purchasing that is always helpful (we all are so different). No matter what skin care line you use it is always nice to use an exfoiant once or twice a week. From my personal experience I highly recommend PSF Pumpkin Peel. I note PSF has a new facial scrub(exfoliant) on their site that sounds awesome (Fresh Peach  ). Not for sale yet. I have not used Renewed Radiance for a long time...but liked it. There are so many exfoliants out there. I suggest you continue taking suggestions from those who have similiar complextions. |
