My derm/med spa recommends the TNS for firming up the skin. Has anyone had any success with this? I'm weighing it against the AlphaDerma which is supposed to firm up the skin also. I'm using the proheal and hydracool which have been fabulous for my pores and skin tone but now I want to tackle the sag that is starting to kick in. Any luck with either?

I have never used TNS. Looking forward to hearing from others. I am very pleased with AlphaDerma's firming qualities. Would your derm who suggested TNS give you some samples to try? Sampling first is the way to go before forking out the cash. Wink

Annie, I don't know what TNS is. AlphaDerm is great for sagging/lines. Although I switched to the ISClinical line and use Firming Complex on top of Active Serum at night. I'm loving it.

I used the Firming by itself last night and it didn't have the same "feel" as using both.

Hi everyone,

I've been using TNS for over a month. I love it's firming effect. I get a fast result after 2-3days. I use it after my favourite toner and vit C serum on top. The result is fantastic. Fine lines under my eyes are less visible. Both my eye bags and cheeks have firmed up.

I'm happy with it. Very Happy

So the recovery complex can be used under the eyes as well? That would be great as I'm having a little sagging there too.

Yes, I use it under my eyes too.
My derm suggested to use it together with a vit C serum to get a better results for fine lines and sagging.

TNS is actually SkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex and it is sold here at EDS if you want do further exploration. I was told that it is made from a formulation based on human foreskin and it is for firming.

Confused I'll stick to the Alphaderma.

I am a Licensed Esthetician in New York, and being so I have the opportunity to try just about every new product out there. We sell the TNS Recovery System at the Medi-Spa where I work so I figured I'd try it. I purchased the Recovery Complex, Dermal Repair, and the eye treatment (mind you I pay %50 off the price of retail). I used it for about a month and really didn't notice any difference, and for the cost I think I should have seen result. The best skin treatment out there is "Prevage".
Prevage sells for about $120.00 here in New York, but it is well worth the money. It's the only treatment I used that I noticed a differene after a week, using it twice a day. If you tend to have oily skin use it in place of a moisturizer. If you have dry skin, apply Prevage then a lite moisturizer over it. I hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,

So Prevage is for firming the skin? That cost is pretty close to TNS-anywhere from 118.00 to 140.00 I have found.
