Has anyone tried this? It would be great if we could find a product in the states that did the same as Lucia. What about the ingredients? Rolling Eyes Carrie ... what do you think?

From the site:

Mavala Double Lash is a nighttime treatment that lengthens and strengthens lashes, helps stimulate faster growth and protects them. The natural ingredients give brightness and thickness to the lashes.

How to Use: Apply at night on clean lashes. Leave on all night.

Quantity: One .3 fl. oz. bottle. Made in Switzerland by Mavala®.

Ingredients: Water, Magnesium, Aluminum Silicate, Butylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Alcohol Denat, Xanthan Gum, Lactococcus Ferment, Glycosaminoglycans, Proline, Riboflavin, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Hexamidine Diisethionate, 2-Bromo-2Nitropropane-1, 3-Diol.

hey Winnie, personally I have tried this, and was sadly disappointed. It felt like glue when it was on my eyelashes, and I don't think that I have lost so many eyelashes before in my life at one time! It was crazy I would wash my face and like 10 eyelashes would be in my hand...eww it was gross, that is my personal opinion in a nutshell. Would not recomend. Sad

Mavala was among the first lash growth serum I tried (along with Talika Lipocils). I used it diligently for three months and didn't really see any major differences. Also, you could only really use it at night because it left a VERY noticeable white, flaky residue, regardless of how lightly you applied it. I know some folks on MUA got fabulous results with both Talika and Mavala but I never saw anything close to what they were raving about. Sorry! Sad

I tried this a while ago and didn't see any significant results - certainly nothing similar to the results that I got with the DreamLash/Ardell combo. Agree with Carrie on the annoying white residue - it's suitable for use at night only IMO.

Sadly, theres nothing on the market that stimulates eye lash growth. If there was there wouldn't be so many thickening mascaras. This is just another cosmetic company making claims about a product that doesn't work.

The Mavala Esolica Double-Lash indeed had good reviews at MUA:

Anyone tried Advanced Eyebrow Nutrition?

and if you are losing your eyebrows and eyelashes Skinbio recommends Folligen Cream and Emu Oil S Lipid Replenisher:

I beg to differ, there’s at least a dozen of us – and probably even more if we counted all of the lurkers – who have indeed found a product/s that stimulate lash growth:

Even if there were some good reviews Carekate, people were still skeptical. Most people still sounded skeptical to me.

I guess I'm a bit biased myself because I tend to take all that Paula writes with a grain of salt.... but I would like to know if Paula has actually tried the different conditioners or if she's just speaking from a theoretical point of view. I say this because many of the things that Paula wrote in her book simply weren't true for my skin type (though they might be true for those with super sensitive skins) but I still value her book because it's a good product directory Smile I'm just wondering what her experience is with the conditioners because I've had fantastic results with a combination of DreamLash/Ardell...

I think she looks at the formulae of cosmetics and skincare versus actually using the product and I'm pretty sure she has testers that use products and report back to her.

What sort of change do you see to your lashes after using the Dreamlash?

I'm not sure if it's the DreamLash or the Ardell, or both. Just in case I keep using both because I'm really liking the results Smile I can with 100% certainty say that my lashes are longer and also they appear darker. I don't really know if they are thicker - I think they do look more dense but that is a harder call to make (or perhaps that is why they look darker?).

Out of the DreamLash and Ardell, I do prefer using the DreamLash for some reason. Sad thing is that it appears to be almost impossible to find in the shops!

Mavala definitely did NOT work for me. In fact, my eyelashed started to fall out a lot more when I used it. It smelled like glue, and left a white residue on the lashes. Icky stuff:(

DreamLash is working for me. I have been using it for about a month (maybe a little less), and I noticed longer lashes after about 5 days, and now I can certainly tell they are getting thicker as well. Or maybe new lashes are coming in thus making them look fuller. Regardless, before using Dreamlash even with mascara my lashes were average at best. Now they are fabulous. I'll even go out of the house without mascara now (from time to time).

I love Dreamlash and don't even feel the need or desire to try anything else.

DreamLash is made by "DreamLash" and sometimes you can find it at Walmart of CVS stores, although I haven't seen it at my local stores since early last summer and have resorted to ordering it from this website: http://wonderfulbuys.com/dreamlash.asp
