I use DHC White sunscreen SPF 25(PPD 8)which has 5% titanium dioxide and 10% zinc oxide. It doesn't leave my face an oil slick like most stable sunscreens and it works very well under my makeup. Here's a link to check it out:

I've also heard good things about Clinique Active White Labs SPF 30, Fancl Sunguard SPF 30 and Shiseido Gentle Sun Protection Lotion SPF 30.

I don't know if this is available outside of Australia so I don't recommend it often but I think the Kosmea Moisturising Lotion SPF30+ is absolutely wonderful! It is based on natural ingredients with stuff like rosehip oil, green tea extract etc I can't confirm what type of sunblock it has in it though as I finished the bottle... |

that looks pretty good and it does say it uses titanium dioxide which is a good thing but it doesnt really list the full ingredient list anywhere.. do you know if this is good for acne prone skin? |

Have you thought about using a facial moisturiser such as Dr Hauschka, Yonka, Burt's Bees.....etc and then using a mineral make-up foundation such as Jane Iredale to provide SPF |

Not sure, sorry! If you email the company they should be able to send you some samples and also respond to your question. |

I do not know if they sell
Ecco Bella
in your country; it is usually found in health food stores. They use natural ingredients in all their products.
It is an exceptionally light, silky, but still hydrating sunscreen that contains only titanium dioxide as the the active ingredient (SPF 15 or 18- it has been a while since I bought this). I do not remember the exact product's name- but this is not a huge line of products; I think there are only 2 sunscreens for the face available.
It was the most impressive, non chalky, non greasy or heavy sunscreen I have ever used! It was almost invisible on my medium skin. I usually dislike sunscreen, especially non chemical ones, but this one changed my mind. I did not break out from this- rare for a sunscreen.
About $25 canadian. |
