Ok I couldn't wait before I finished the bottle, it runs out this week.

This is a two product review.

I've been taking 3x3 a day which is somewhere in the mid range of the recommended dose, if you're heavy or have really bad skin they suggest more.
From what I've read on the site and doing my own research the product looks to help eliminate toxins in the body rather than have them throw the toxins out through the skin (yuck)

From week one I could see a difference, in fact my mother commented on it. So far so good. But thought I’d give it longer to be sure as often you switch to a new product and get quick results that don’t last.

At this point I started to use 101E Acne get away, which is brown liquid you apply to your skin (again Chinese medicine based) which it supposed to help kills the bacteria on your skin and heal up what’s there.

Gross alert!
I would say I was getting one little red bump a week at this point (2 weeks with the pills 1 week lotion) - nothing like the hideous gunk filled spots I would get during flare ups. The blackheads/ congestion bumps were now starting to seem more open i.e ready for extraction. So I had a good gouge on the skin and made myself bleed – not good considering the chances of scarring. So I applied the 101 lotion over the top and it stopped all that revolting weeping and grot that follows a deep extraction.
So it appears the lotion does zap the bugs but also loosens the current grime in your skin making it easier to remove.

Has it 100% cleared my skin? No more like 90% but it has done a bloody good enough job for me that I would consider spending £75.00 a month on these pills. Now I’ve tasted clearer skin, something I’ve not had for 15+ years I’m not going back.

Do you need both the pills and lotion? Possibly not but they seem to compliment each other well. Perhaps I’ll try a month with just the lotion somewhere down the line.

Next week I will be following the recommendations of a TCM herbalist which has a 14 day course of pills followed by 14 days of pills to treat those hormonal breakouts. So I will be changing the pills for something that will be cheaper in the long run if they work as well.

If you really have tried everything these products are seriously worth looking at. If on a budget try the lotion, if not try the pills. I believe if you buy direct they have a money back offer.

Thanks Ruth. I'll re-post when I see how the other skin pills work out.

I doubt it will last for ever but I imagine a lower dose to just keep things under control would be in order. Of course I should stop taking them to see how long it takes for my skin to get grotty again to see how long the effects last if I were doing things by the book. Wink

me and my friends have known about the 101E 'secret' for years. all my friends and their friends have used 101E (which costs abut £20 here but we used to stockpile them from china at £1 a bottle!)

i am not sure how true this is, but my we all stopped using it now, as in china this product is now banned as it thins your skin out dangerously so!

but it does work! i don't think you need the pills. so if you want to save the money use the lotion

shame you never told anyone about it.

I can see nothing on the ingredients that thin the skin, nor did I find anything suggesting it on the net, if you have some evidence please show it.

i told all my friends about it - and they told their friends! it was quite funny as i met people through friends and they knew me as the person who recommended 101E which they had then used and it had worked. i only started using EDS recently and haven't used 101E for years now and had forgot about it.

i don't have any proof hence why i said i don't know how true this is. it is just what i heard from my friends who are from china and this is what the told me that they can't buy it over there anymore.

I am Chinese, living in beijing.I should say,I do not hear about 101E in China, and all my friends do not use it.
I should say ,traditonal chinese medicine is really effciency to acne.TONG REN TANG is the most famous chinese medicine store. It's have it's own pill(dark brown,as big as a meet ball),it can make your acne disappear. It's only $2 or $3 per pill. Use 6 pill, will make your skin smooth and white. So we do not use 101E at all.
My English is not so good.Maybe what I say is not so accurate. But I really want to tell Eve,101E is not worth that much.

I have used this product and it works well in a short period of time. You can buy it at folica.com. Doesn't smell very good though.

I am referring to the 101E. I don't use it anymore since I discovered Accutane.
