Hi

Can anyone help please.

i am using Alpha Derma and Okusil at the moment. My undereye area is very crepey and now it seems to be coming more saggy and baggy. I also have deep crows feet and two deep frown lines. My face looks as though it is even starting to sag around the jaw area and my eyelids look droopy. Im only 37 Sad

is there anything else i could try that will help firm up my skin and hopefully erase wrinkles.

Im really in a mess and feeling very old and horrid

You could try introducing Decleor prolagene gel into your routine. I have done this under my existing eye care products and seen fantastic results. It seems to really firm and tone and I have defo seen results on my eye area lines too. It comes in a huge size so works out really cost effective HTH AJ Wink

Absolutely STOP using the Okusil and find yourself a good moisturizing eye cream. At your young age the undereye crepiness is most likely due to dryness in this very delicate area. The Okusil only aggrevates this condition. I'm 53 and never had any undereye lines and no sagginess there at all until I used the Okusil that came as part of a package I purchased. Thinking I'd ward off any future undereye problems, I tried it....with disasterous effects! Thankfully, after a few days of not applying it my eyes returned to normal.
I do still apply the Skin Prep and Alphaderma under my eyes before applying moisturizer but the Okusil went straight into the garbage where it belongs!
I think if you do a search here you'll find other women who've had the same problem with the Okusil. Horrid stuff!!

I had a similar experience with the Okusil. I love the Alpha Derma and Skin Prep and have had good results using this combo under my eyes. When I added Okusil to my routine, my undereye area turned into crackly, dry crepe paper within a couple of days. Each time this happened (yes, I kept going back to the Okusil hoping that THIS time it would be different), it took me a week to get my eye area back to normal. After three tries, I gave up.

Id suggest that you eliminate the Okusil for a while and focus on re-hyrdating the eye area and see if this helps.

What I found worked best was a layer of Dr. H moisturizing mask followed by the Dr. H eye balm. The eye balm is very rich and waxy, but it does wonders for dried-out skin.

I think whatever eye cream we use, we need to exfoliate (although the eye area is sensitive). I notice my eye creams work but once in a while, I need to clear out the dead skin in that area too.

I like to use Skinceuticals Intense line defense for under eye area, crow's feet, the "number 11" between my brows as well as the nasal labial area. I apply it maybe once or twice a week and notice it helps my eye creams get more effective.

I currently use Cellscosmet eye contour. The other one that is quite good is Phytomer's Eye Cream (this is easier on the wallet and is quite good). BTW, I do have a dry eye area as well. Also, I know it is usually mentioned not to apply on lids - but I think I'd rather have a bit of puffiness just in the mornings than crepey lids. Please do apply eye cream on the lids too.

An overdose of DDF's Benzoyl Peroxide (10%!) and Sulfur treatment recently DESTROYED my eye area. I look like I have 80 years behind me. I've been wearing sunglasses at all times of day and night, and I turn and look down when my boyfriend attempts to look into my eyes (bummer Sad

). I need some SERIOUS repair.

I'm currently using any and all moisturizers I have, none of which focus on wrinkling (my main problem) but I have a firming lotion by RoC that claims to "deeply moisturize"

Are these wrinkles going to go away? I can't bear this. My eyes are so dry, I can't even use make up.

Which product should I use? Dr H's eye balm? The Decleor Prolagene Gel?

im only 16 and also have wrinkles under my eyes.. there just lines but i have them under my whole eye area and ive had them for like 4 months now.. my eyes are just absolutely terrible.. i think its from rubbing them too much when i had allergies.. i also have dark circles because of that.

Now ... I'm not nearly as young as some of you ... but once in a while I have noticed my under eye area getting a crepey look.

When I do notice this, I generally put a bit of jojoba oil in that area, sometimes covered with a Vitamin E serum [drug store brand] and that seems to rehydrate the area.

I have always had oily skin ... although recently it's become more balanced and closer to "normal" ... so this is a recent problem for me, and that's perhaps why the more simple solutions work for me. Still, given your very young ages, it might be worth a try.

I wouldn't put Okusil in the bin, I would say some, myself included have found that it is not moisturising enough by itself - may be I'm wrong but I don't think it's promoted as such? I would keep using it due it whats in it, pretty similar to the ADCE but add another product that gives a bit more 'slip' to the skin. It's what I do.

Cellcosmet eye cream is nice, Ren do a very nice cream as do Dr.H you could also use a simple oil like camelia or jojoba and use a tiny amount after the okusil has sunk in. Hope this helps.

I feel your pain I overtreat my acne as well. Right now I have a huge dry bumpy wrinkly circle patch around my mouth. This is the area that I usually get breakouts. I really overdid it with tea tree oil spot treatment. This happened to me last time with benzoyl peroxide 10% so I never used it again. The first time this happened I thought that I had an allergic reaction, but I think I just dryed the hell out of my skin, like this time. My suggestion to you is to not put anything any chemicals on your face for the time being. And put a thin layer of olive oil around your eye area. This will probably soak up fast so make sure to keep applying throughout the day. And keep the sunglasses on when you are outside, because ANY kind of sunlight to this now very sensitive area can do further damage. With this I am sure it will be back to normal in a day or two. I know most eye product does protect wrinkle /dehydrated lines to shape more around eye. Is there anyway to get rid of the lines totally once it's lightly formed?

Also, do we need to put vit C on eyes every day and nite?
